    My almost 4 year old boy loves My Father's Dragon and Pippi Longstockings! Mr. Popper's Penguins is too advanced for him right now, but I can't wait to read it to him in the future!

    Our neighbors have a beautiful inground pool. They always say to us, "We keep the gate unlocked, please come over and swim whenever you want!". We're friendly with these neighbors, go to their house for parties and such...but I would never go swimming without them home. Really, I would never go swimming in their pool unless they were swimming too.

    I have baby fever right now even though DD is only 8 months! We had an "oops!" last month, but was disappointed when my period showed up this month. We'll officially start TTC #3 in September, if I'm not pregnant before then!

    Check out fluenz.com. It's a couple hundred dollars. I didn't buy yet it as I don't have that money right now, but they have a sample lesson plan on their website. It seems pretty cool.

    I agree. I am currently working part time as a nurse right now. Despite my bachelors degree, I would love nothing more than to stay home full time to take care of the kids, tend to the house and cook for my husband. I think I was born in the wrong decade! :tongue_smilie:

    I have a boy and girl so I buy new for each as needed. But I take hand-me-downs from my 2 year old niece, and my sister takes my son's clothes for her boy.

    We have The Letter Factory and DS loves it! He asks to watch "the froggy movie" several times a week! He's been watching it for about a month now and he's learned and retained just about all the letter sounds!

    It's hard to look at everything that's out there and not get it NOW...I want it all for my son! I have no advice as my preschooler isn't there yet. But like the previous poster, I'm also eagerly preparing, planning and researching curriculums!!

    Every night we sing: Mr. Sun Kuckaburro Sits in the Old Gum Tree The Ants Go Marching I'm a Little Tea Pot Sometimes we also sing Christmas songs too. DS loves Jingle Bells, Santa Clause is Coming to Town, O Christmas Tree and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer!
