  1. hmmm...I don't know what to tell you because I have the same problem.
  2. round here those are barbed wire holes. All my shirts have them too. (climbed through any barbed wire fences lately?)
  3. I keep 2 for each bed for the middle of the night vomit sessions. If I am sick and the kids are sick, the last thing I want to do is have to wash immediately, and wait for them to dry before I can go back to bed.
  4. I'd much rather do pilates. Lots of much easier exercises that work the full spectrum of muscles down there. http://www.exercisetv.tv has some great freebies.
  5. ooooo, mommy look BIG BOOBS!!!! I like these! (squeezing with both hands) All this hollered at the top of his lungs...my 13 yo dd wanted to die.
  6. I am like this. I would get a diving mask...not goggles, but a mask that covers her nose too. Let her play with it in the tub too. It will help.
  7. cut out all white food till you leave...no sugar, no white flour no potatoes.... I lost 10 lbs in 10 days.
  8. I am identical to you in size , and I never get comments one way or the other. Are you dressing correctly for your size? (wearing properly fitted clothing)
  9. What helped me most was to turn off the TV. I even toss the Victoria's Secret catalogue, unless I specifically need it. No fashion mags either. The Book So long insecurity by Beth Moore has helped ALOT! Behave beautifully and your dh will think you are beautiful!
  10. yes. I do get those comments to. They make me smile. I usually answer that it is much easier than getting 4 kids up, dressed, lunches packed, homework done and ready for the school bus by 7.
  11. Am I alone? Total strangers say nothing but positives about it. (or nothing at all) Perhaps I just emit a vibe that says "MYOB" but in 8 years criticisms haven't happened to me. (my dh says I am just clueless and don't pick up on other's negativity, typically) I've kind of hoped that sometime somebody would say something to my dh about homeschooling that is negative. I'd love to see his reaction... Any one else have nothing but good to report?
  12. or possibly you could swap off care with another at home mom, giving both of you a little break...
  13. absolutely! Maybe they can embroider that on the crown of the hat? \ And there I would have been *flash* dh would have done that too. But then he also moo-ed at me when I was pumping too. that was my problem too!
  14. YES! I was reading a few months back and I was shocked at the dental hygienist wages for a simple 2 year degree. The source I saw quoted 40/k starting out and 60K average!
  15. co-op is good because I believe it counts toward the 2 yr's work required before you are eligible to take the PE licensing exam. And one gets paid in the meantime. And one makes valuable contacts in the engineering world. (dh was hired by the company with whom he co-oped)
  16. yes. this. I made the same mistake with my dd. When she was advanced in first grade I simply pushed her on ahead. Then when we hit fourth grade it all hit the fan. It was horrible. Her brain was NOT ready for the concepts, nor was she capable of handling the workload. It was a big mistake. Those advanced courses are designed for the average 6-7 grader not a younger kid. I'm not saying that you just forget about math and all you have learned, but you may want to consider backing way off.
  17. There is insinuation in most of these books, but no descriptions. Not even out and out telling the reader what happened.
  18. me too! Mostly it's because my 2 oldest look like dad and my 2 youngest look like me. And there is 5 yrs gap between my 2 oldest. "I'll forgive you for asking if you'll forgive me for not answering"
