  1. I think it's strange too, but not unexpected on such a big occasion. I think they have done a pretty good job of leading a 'normal' life, and I hope the press/people continue to let them have that. It was a beautiful wedding. :001_wub:
  2. My DS (9) struggles with it. On everything but HWOT (cursive) he prints. Cursive is still very foreign to him (he sometimes calls it spanish lol.) I know his friends in public school are writing in cursive full time now, so I'm trying to keep him on level since he will be going back to public next year.
  3. My DS sounds a lot like yours. I just try to keep things fun for him and try to remember that his mood is a reflection of my mood. If I am frustrated, in a bad mood, or anticipating a struggle, he will feel the same way! If I act silly and laugh, he acts the same way and the work is done in no time and we have fun with it.
  4. We have rest time every day after lunch for 30 mins to an hour. I can't function without it!
  5. I am south of Houston, in southern Brazoria County. I have lived in Kingwood, inner loop (@ Kirby & 59) and in Richmond as well but we ended up back in our hometown.
  6. Thank you all for the replies- I will start researching! I would love to hear more suggestions too. :grouphug:
  7. I would really love suggestions for a secular program that has teacher/home instructor guides available. Right now we only have math & handwriting curriculum so I am open to multi-subject courses. What are some of the favorites out there? I would love to have the long list of choices narrowed down a bit to the tried and true. Thanks so much for any and all help. =)
