    That dryer sounds broken lol. If you don't have a front loader washer start there. It spins WAY more water out of your clothes and cuts the drying time down. I do laundry for 8 of us and never have to wait for the dryer to catch up. I have had Maytag and don't think they are that great. My mom had a Kenmore dryer for 20 years before it died.

    How would you incorporate your kids initials into one tattoo? I am planning to get one on my shoulder with all the initials. C,J,M,D,J,T who is creative enough to design one?

    I have to agree. Seems a bit overboard. I would be more concerned about the paranoia associated with the term brainwashing. She will be living out in the real world, right? If you don't want mainstream fork over the money for private.

    For my non-mathy, future hair stylist DD we get math done to get it done. TT is fine. I may need more to the other kids but I just NEED. IT. DONE.

    Everything that came off my new high tech and self-sufficient farm I just bought. :laugh: I would love to own a small farm just for us and make a go of it. Sigh

    I have to chime in and say that it takes art to a new level! My girls LOVE him. Homeschool buyers is the bomb! I have gotten the best deals through them for Meet the Masters and Mark Kistler.

    Ugh no state standards! While I realize that Jamestown and Virginia played an important role in our history.....2 years of it???? Only in VA do you study it that closely and what good does it do you?

    You know what makes my throat feel better? Heat up Tang mixed with instant ice tea mix. It cuts the glop in the back and soothes. Just a thought to get you through the day! :grouphug:

    Travel soccer and competitive dance removes the money and time for music. The girls also do sewing. I played the cello for years. Even played with a private orchestra at Lincoln Center in middle school. Do I miss it? no. I was very mathy at that age and none of mine are like that so I think exercise and socializing are my priorities right now.

    At 6 this morning we had about 6-7 inches out on the lawn and it has not stopped. If it were colder and fluffier it would be a lot more. I am thinking well over a foot by tonight

    It is warm today but the low will wrap around from the north and grab the moisture. That's what will slam us-the circulation of the coastal low.

    Well you can make fun of reusable bag users(based on the scientific need to save the earth) but not a mythical entity that created the earth. Funny how it all pans out when it comes to snarkiness here.

    Up until this storm they were never sure of how it would pan out. We are under a warning now with 10-15 expected in Northern Fauquier. Doesn't really matter to me but I am having them get out all of their stuff tonight so I don't have to deal with it in the morning. By Friday afternoon it will be gone and then we will have flooding lol.

    Maybe there is something in the new testament about not reusing grocery bags. Yikes-how hard is it to know plastic is bad? Why don't you just pour motor oil in your front yard. Dang people.

    Another granite lover here. Easy care and maintenance. We have had ours for almost 9 years. Myth busters did an episode on it and I believe the only thing that they could damage it with was railroad explosives to burn it and dropping a ridiculous amount of weight on it to break off the edge. Everyday wear will do nothing to it.
