  3. Thank you both so much!! You've given me some directions to look. And yes it is cold today!! Weatherman took a wrong turn somewhere. Hoping Faire weekend will be warmer!
  4. We are headed to the Hoggetowne Medieval Faire at the end of the month and dd would like to find a Medieval dress to wear. Ordering seems a bit iffy at this late point. If you're in the NE FL area do you know of shops that such a garment might be purchased at this time of year? Thanks!!
  5. Currently less than a mile but in previous times we've lived on the opposite end of the country.
  6. That looks good!! I may just have to take more than one green veggie :)
  7. I love green bean casserole! I've not seen gf fried onions. I'll have to look for them or do you make them yourself?
  8. I'm on for a green veggie for Christmas dinner. I want to do something more than heat and serve. Pork roast and roasted red potatoes are on the menu. Hit me with some great ideas. Needs to be free of gluten and corn. TIA!
  9. I love my laminator. Use is all the time. Glad someone could use it. idnib - I have used these Scotch ones in a different laminator in the past. Someone asked that question there as well - Question: Are these sheets compatible with any machine or just the scotch one? I think so. I have used them with my Scotch Laminator and the Swingline GBC Inspire Laminator. As long as it is a hot laminator. They should work fine in my opinion.
  10. Passing on in case it's helpful to anyone. Up to 78% Off a Scotch Laminator and Laminating Pouches

  12. The Crippled Lamb is a favorite here among many of the others mentioned.
  13. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
  14. Teach Your Child to Read in 100 EZ Lessons. The only book to ever bring a child to tears in my house. It didn't last long to say the least :)
  15. Wonderful, wonderful news!!! :hurray:
  16. Staying put. . No sense tempting fate. Doesn't sound like something we want to take a chance catching even if it's a remote chance.
  17. Would you skip therapy tomorrow if the therapist's child was diagnosed with hand, foot, mouth?
  18. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: I am so sorry for your loss.
  19. Funny story - When I was in college getting my education degree one of my classes required us to complete both Zaner Blozer manuscript and cursive. I was counted off for using what the professor thought was a fountain pen :)
  20. He is out of ICU  and in the step down unit. When he's healed enough they will transfer him to a rehab center. Thanks for all the prayers!!
  21. Just home from the hospital. He looks so much better than yesterday. His head has stitches and staples from front to back. The vertebrae cracks are in places that allow him to be able to sit up and perhaps get up with the help of therapists. He's in a neck and chest brace and they've drugged him enough that the shoulder doesn't hurt too badly. He's got a lot of healing to do but he's on his way. The doctors keep mentioning how blessed he is to not be much worse. My mom, after seeing his improvements today, is much more at peace. She had a really good visit with him and they let me take my kids in for a short visit. That really cheered him up. Thank you all so much for your prayers, good thoughts and hugs!
