  1. I am working on organizing and setting up the library at our church. There are already quite a few books (somewhere around 1000 I guess) but they've just been stacked in a haphazard way til now. I've got them sorted by subject so far. Next step  is cataloging them. Is there a computer program you'd recommend for that? I'd love something that takes the ISBN and gives the spine numbers and cataloging info. Does such a thing exist? Any other hints and ideas are very welcome! Thanks!!

  2. There was a thread recently that talked about Epi pens. Several people mentioned an alternative that wasn't as expensive. I can't, for the life of me, find the thread.  What are the other epi pen type of medications out there?

    Thanks!

  3. I would have your friend contact police directly. I recently went through a talk shared by a detective who said sharing photos like that, even innocently with a friend for help, can be viewed by law enforcement as distribution of child porn since there is at least one minor. I would not contact anyone else involved in those pictures. Turn it all over to law enforcement.

I'm just curious if the digestive issues are not there yet, if the test would still show positive for Celiac since they're testing for damage to the villi in the small intestine.

Yes! My son had very little in the way of digestive issues when he was diagnosed. He was dealing with other issues (wrist pain, brain fogginess to name a couple). Celiac was actually a random 'check it off the list' test. His GI was surprised when blood work came back positive and shocked at the level of damage to his gut with so few digestive issues.

  5. My oldest and dh both have Celiac.  Since ds' diagnosis (his was first) dd is tested every 3 years  (bloodwork) by our GI. My youngest has been gf  since years before ds'/dh's diagnosis due to his special needs but GI doctor even had us do a gluten trial with him  so we could test and know for sure what we were dealing with. The repercussions of undiagnosed/untreated Celiac are significant. I'd definitely have your children tested.

  6. Dh has celiac and is allergic to corn. He is still having some issues even being strict gluten and corn free. At his GI appointment this morning the doctor suggested he follow FODMAP (gf and corn free). He sent him home with some literature and, of course, there are LOTS of websites out there but I'd love some btdt input. Good websites, reliable facebook pages, favorite books, recipes - that sort of thing.

If you follow this diet or know anything about it I'd love your input :)
