  1. Newman's Own organic decaf is available in the k-cups. I also love Starbucks decaf mocha frapp :hurray: .
  2. Sleep mask for blocking out the sun! We always wanted to rent an RV, but it just never worked out financially. We just flew or drove and stayed in hotels or with family.

    WWYD??

I'm late chiming in, but thinking about this...I would want to respect my ds and keep the safe with me/us kid/parent communication line open. If it had been criminal all bets are off, but your kid showed character at the sleepover there and coming home and telling you. Growing up is hard, but having a parent(s) you can trust and come to is priceless. We avoided overnights, because too much time unsupervised for many kids leads to trouble. ymmv
  4. It's a main dish at my house...and I don't put meat in mine. P  T Luckpolice...
  5. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: OP sorry your experience was so difficult especially while you are suffering from depression. Get help for the depression, and put off any decisions or worry over your children until you are in a better place.
  6. We cancelled our paper years ago...All my news is on-line pretty much or occasionally television.
  7. I would expect a married couple to share because I value and honor marriage, and if that wasn't okay...I wouldn't share with her/him.

  9. Top doesn't always = the bottom size, so they are easier to shop for and wear for many women. I agree they function better in the restroom. They have so many more options than the teeny-tiny bikini. I had to buy new swim stuff this year :confused1: . Call me thrilled, but I found a cute pair of swim shorts w/pockets and a top like fancy tank with a built in bra. :hurray:
  10. Goodness...I hope you'll find yourself stronger on the other end of this. Do you have any support, a good therapist or minster might help you deal with your feelings. He's sounds like he's been a donkey butt for a very long time, but this is all new to you and your girls; that's hard to deal with. If you are worried or trying to fix things for your girls by communicating with him to have a dad - relationship with him, that's probably a waste of your time, based on your posts.
  11. Only if it doesn't fit right, an underwire or I have p m s. You might make a bra shopping trip to find one that doesn't feel like it's crushing or suffocating you.
  12. No, unless I was asked. Btw...ladies a guy way back in my school days loved white pants with p a n t y lines. He managed to jeeve a lot of us out.
  13. I hope you love it! Let us know how it turns out.
  14. We came up with a catch phrase..."Grandma, you crack me up." That clues me if she is pushing the bounds of politeness; she like to go after someone out of dh's hearing. I play like I can't hear well, and pardon her to repeat her nutty self until she finally hears herself. My mil is not old, hears well and doesn't mean her snarky comments in a good way though; I'm glad we don't see her often and would go mad if she lived with us. I'm not sure for your mom if you will be able to change her, but if your guys are stinging from her snarky remarks, I would try. (How long has it been since her hearing was checked and the hearing-aids issued?) The technology has skyrocket and I find older people who can't hear well do much better if it can be addressed positively.
  15. :iagree: :iagree: :iagree: It sounds like her heart is in the right place...sort of  .
  16. Thanks for sharing your update with us. I know moving is hard, but I wish you the very best in Texas. Just wanted to add a little envy here on my part...My sister, and her family live in Texas...I would love to move to Texas...
  17. OP :iagree: I wouldn't trust that rescue in the future. There are too many like them that blur, ignore, erase or downplay an animals past and that can endanger new families and gives the animal a poor placement that will likely result in sadness for them and the new family.
  18. :grouphug: I sympathize and could not live with that mice, poop and pee everywhere all.the.time... He would have to change or he would have to go, and I honestly can't imagine him changing those behaviors at his age. This decision is better made by you alone or with dh, as I imagine your kids will not want the guilt or anxiety of choosing. I agree in the future another cat, esp a male one, will likely feel the need to continue to mark where he has.
  19. :grouphug: Op...you did nothing wrong; the rescue center is 100% liable and guilty imo. They should be open to returning any pet who has bitten a family member no questions asked; it would be in the animal's best interest.
  20. :grouphug: If they are being married in a place of worship, pre-marital counseling or a couples retreat w/pre-marital counseling might be a way for them to work through their stuff in a supportive way that will foster a better start to their lives.
