  1. :lurk5: I don't think my dd has this problem but I do. I have delegated her handwriting instruction to my mother because my handwriting is abysmal and I don't want to inadvertently teach her my bad habits.
  2. Leave him in charge for a few hours while you go to the library for some peaceful planning time. Or some other out of the house activity that appeals to you. Then he will have to relearn how to cope. :grouphug:
  3. Pretty much like slavery. I think we all wish it were only in other countries.
  4. I added that article to my favorites for the booklist for my dd7. She is definitely rowdy and I have had to seek out activities that allow her to get that out of her system. Dh is a typical computer nerd so I have no idea where this came from. I was a bit of a tomboy but not to the extent she is.
  5. :iagree:I need that tshirt for christmas activities with the inlaws. Do you have a link? We live out and dd7 has coop and Kumon, church and other activities to give her an opportunity to socialize. Just a thought on the driving issue, how soon will Diva be able to get her license? That will probably help some in a few years.
  6. I might be tempted to try to cover any food plants I have out.
  7. My dd7 seems to do better at an activity where there are more males than she did at dance. I suspect it is because she is less likely to get sympathy if she has a meltdown and flops on the floor and refuses to move(she did this at dance once).
  8. I should try some of the suggestions here. I have not had my thyroid tested but I have some of the symptoms mentioned here.
  9. I never made this connection until now, I'm not sure I wanted to know.
  10. Sounds like a bad question. I have even seen those in college classes.
  11. :iagree:I am pretty much a homebody and I love that our home is not visible from the street.
  12. The book Nourishing Traditions has alot of information about carbs causing cholesterol problems. There are also many, many recipes and cooking suggestions that may help in there.
  13. There was a report that I heard about in early 2011. A python was found dead with a full grown alligator in its stomach. The alligator had split the python open (talk about eyes too big for its stomach) but both animals were dead. This is a major problem in the everglades aside from the dangers to humans and pets becuse some of the other species that the snakes are either eating or competing with for food or both are protected or endangered.
