  1. I think you could paint just that window frame (at least to start) because it seems isolated there inbetween the cabinets. Like it’s not connected to the other window frames.
  2. That’s very lucky. If I brushed my teeth for 10 seconds I wouldn’t have any teeth left.
  3. I keep looking at that name and I can’t stop twitching.
  4. I have a doterra membership (about $35/year). There’s a handful of things I wanted and the discount made it worth it. I signed up about 10 months ago and no one has tried to get me to buy/sell anything during that time. So if YL is the same then I would say it’s worth it.
  5. Yes, I know a little girl with a nickname like that. Her full name is beautiful and the standard nickname for her name is cute. But her parents made up a nickname from her name and it is awful. Seriously, it makes me cringe.
  6. Yes, I agree. My dd has been using differin (OTC) for about 14 weeks. She had A LOT of purging in the first 2.5 months, I can definitely see why people give up on it. But in the last 3-4 weeks she has had only a handful of new pimples, now we just have to be patient and wait for the red marks to fade. Her skin looks the best it has in over 2 years. She also uses a benzoyl peroxide lotion in the morning (proactive lotion) but not every day. If she doesn’t get completely clear in the next 3 months we will probably try the prescription strength differin. Differin has some advantages over retin-a, the biggest one is that has anti-inflammatory properties Before this we had tried proactive, curology (mixed prescription cream), oral antibiotics, and we spent 7 months and several thousands of dollars with an esthetician. During the time with the esthetician she was dairy free, grain free (she’s been GF for years), nut free, no sugar, no nightshades, limited fruit, etc. That all had zero impact on her acne. If the differin hadn’t worked (and doesn’t continue to work) our next step would probably be birth control pills.
  7. Go find this Second Skin for blisters. These little gel pads are nearly miraculous for curing blisters. This is a huge container, you might be able to find them at Walgreens for cvs. Spenco 2nd Skin Squares Soothing Protection for Blisters, Hot Spots and Skin Irritations, Gel Squares 200-Count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0006GE6A8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_uk2eBbTBRZYHA
  8. Chicken salad, salami and cheese on toothpick skewers, yogurt cup, crackers with hummus or guacamole, grapes, cherry tomatoes, and black olives.
  9. I’m sure that’s possible but the OP said that her DD got an A in three previous classes with this instructor. I would think that those classes were building up the skills that were needed for this class.
  10. As someone who taught classes like this. I have to wonder what the teacher was doing? I’m curious, do you know how many kids were in the class? He was there every day, he didn’t see a problem?
  11. Hmmm, what was she doing in class? I was a home ec teacher. When I had high school classes with advanced projects it was part of my job to help the kids decide on and plan out projects that were appropriately difficult but something they could complete. I would think it should have been obvious to the teacher by mid February that there was a big problem. Also part of my grading rubric included a daily participation/work grade and a lot of steps along the way so the entire grade wasn’t based on completed projects.
  12. Yes, and you can stay warm for a long time working outside. But if it’s 100 degrees when you step outside, you’re instantly hot and I hate working when I’m hot.
  13. We just got back from Solo. We all thought it was excellent. It was so, so much better than the last few. The showing of Solo we went to was packed but the movie theater overall was pretty empty.
  14. I had some tearing, I think probably 2nd degree in length. But I had a lot of deep cuts inside the vaginal walls. My Dr spent over an hour stitching them all up. I guess they were from the vacuum suction. Dd was sunny side up and I had been pushing for 2.5 hours. Yanking her out with the vacuum was a last ditch effort before the c-section. The whole thing was kind of a mess.
  15. Ha! Mine is like that, I bought mine at walmart. ?
  16. I have a Tramontina (walmart) Dutch oven that I’ve been using for almost 10 years. It came with a plastic knob on the lid but I replaced that right away with a metal knob from Home Depot. I also have a Le Creuset Dutch oven and I use the Tramontina more, it’s bigger and heavier.
  17. That completely depends on where you live.
  18. Do you have a Macy’s nearby? I can almost always find a dress for this kind of occasion there. I agree with you about the fitted waist and right above the knee should be perfect. Don’t rule out knit dresses (heavy knits) unless you try them on. There are a lot out there now that are firm and not too clingy that could work really well with curves.
  19. I agree. I really, really disliked the dress. I hate that fit, it was loose from the bust to waist. I’m fine with the plain fabric but make it fit the body.
  20. On the recording I listened to I could only hear Yanny (my 14 year old heard Laurel when we were listening at the same time) When I listened to that dictionary recording it was very clearly Laurel.
  21. Does someone in the group know you and will approve your request to join the group? I’m in many FB groups and i know many that I’m in wouldn’t accept your request because it would look like a fake profile and they would think you’re there to troll.
  22. My dancer is 14 She dances 6 days/week. She has class from 1.5-3 hours/day and for most of the year she has rehearsals for another 2-4 hours on Fridays and Saturdays. My dancer hasn’t really wanted to do anything else besides Dance. I think if there was something else she was passionate about she would be able to make time for it but she doesn’t want to. She’s an introvert and needs quite a bit of alone time to recharge. She’s taking a few outside (school) classes next year so that should be...interesting.
  23. Am I reading that right? The second flight is boarding 55 minutes before it takes off?
  24. In an effort to clean up my language a bit (and possibly improve my mood) I’m going to start using poopyhead as my curse word while driving.
