I really underestimated the power of memory work. Also, for me the bluedorns "teaching the trivium" book helped me prioritize my time. lisa

and I need to know if there are any other parents who have had to work with this issue. He isn't angry all the time he just gets frustrated easily and every once in a while hits a child if they do not stop doing what he asks them to do. There is no excuse for his hitting anyone and he is not "getting" it. Has anyone used an "anger management" book that has worked well for them? Thanks, Lisa:bigear:

I would love to combine both! We are using the history cards and Melody lane from VP and we also read the K level of SL over the last 2 years. It would be hard to give up SL 1 next year and on the same note VP choices are excellant also. My boys are learnig so much with the History cards from VP and also loved the SL K books. Can we do it all? I did not see the two combined on Paulas archives. lisa:confused:
