OK I have read almost all of this and I am coming from the point of view as a mom with that kid. He was terrible, he destroyed everything............as a toddler. Because it took us a few years to really get that he will do these things with no notice. By 7 no it didn't happen. I also had two more babies underfoot by that time. They were two adults in a room with one child it sounds like it shouldn't have happened. By 7 they know what to watch for, they know how to physically pick him up and walk out there were two of them. Giving markers to a kid like that in someone else home?? NO. I mean geesh who does this? I'm sorry maybe I am weird everyone keeps talking how things can get outta control fast but there were two parents there it should not have happened. These are the reasons people look at autism and still cringe because parents are not getting off their butts. I could maybe see if there was only 1 parent but there was both

I have thought about this thread all day long. I mean really what would I do if a mother came to me with this issue? How would I react? I think I would laugh, I would totally laugh and wait for her to say NOT or just kidding or or something. I wouldn't have moved her kid up either. These are not problems in the school to me these are people who have a sense of entitlement and ungratefulness. I would tell her it be best to take her kid out of school in all honesty. If he can't handle that he should go home and live in a bubble. Gimme a break. If I were her friend I would drop her and her kid wouldn't play with mine. The world may end if my kid don't share a candy bar equally. I just cannot get over it. My son is autistic and if he dared whine to me about something so stupid at 7 years old I would have told him to suck it up. I just don't get it. That poor teacher is gonna be miserable

There was a book a teacher read us basically it was teaching us the why of doing things I guess like book had different children for each story, I remember there was one who wouldn't clean his room it got so bad he could no longer leave it cause the door wouldn't open the one who wouldn't take a bath she got so dirty that nobody wanted to play with her etc. I went to a Catholic school not sure if this book was religion based though
