  1. Oh Dawn our boys sound so similar. Mine seems to take forever when it comes to writing and don't even think about asking for something creative. I have actually broken the writing down into parts. We start Monday with brainstorming the idea. On Tuesday we will try and outline the paragraph. By Wednesday we hopefully are ready to revise and edit. Thursday and Friday are spent making a final copy. Breaking it into pieces has definitly helped with our writing because it was just too overwhelming in one day. I myself am not a great writer and have thought about paying someone to help.
  2. I agree that it should say where you recieved your rep from. Honestly there are people that are nice to chat with but slow to do business with and vise versa. If there is going to be rep then I hope we can see who and where it is from and then judge for oursleves based on that.
  3. We are paying $30 for a half hour in Miami, FL. The lessons take place at a music store in the back classrooms.
  4. I love the activity guide for SOTW but we rarely ever seem to get to the crafts. We enjoy doing them when we find the time but it seems like we are on another chapter before I have gathered all the supplies needed for the project. Was wondering if anyone else had this happen or if I was the only disorganized mom. :( Suggestions on a quick and easy system would be great.

  6. My first message mysteriously disappeared but I wanted to make sure I said "Thanks." I knew someone on the board would have some sound advice for me. I am right now looking at a few potential buys on ebay so lets keep our fingures crossed. The music store my son takes his lessons at charges around 700-800 for a USED clarinet so they were out of the question but I think we should find something elsewhere. Thanks again. :D
  7. My son has decided to switch from the flute to the Clarinet but I am unsure of a good brand for beginners. I have seen some really great deals on the buffet b12 and the leblanc vito but am not sure what to even look for. Although I like the instructor he is taking lessons with I know from experience that what is recommended is always the most expensive product they sell (not always the best). Hoping another mom on the site would know from experience what brands to look for and which to stay away from. Thanks in advance
