  1. Thank you for taking to the time to comment. I think I'll end up using one this year and the other the next. I think I just need to ask my kids which one appeals to them more for this upcoming year. Did your kids enjoy the workbooks from one program more than the other?
  2. Thank you for the feedback! So if I used the workbook do you think the teachers guide is necessary? I plan to make literature and writing the main focus of our LA curriculum next year so I'm trying to get the 'right" curriculum for this stage.
  3. I'm trying to choose curriculum for next year and am trying to find a good literature curriculum for my rising 4th and 5th graders. Lightning Literature and Mosdos both look appealing to me so I'd like some opinions. Will it be too time consuming to do a separate program for each kid or no? I should say that the younger slows down the older when we do group work because he has ADHD and that frustrates the older. But if we're just reading together and doing the workbooks separate that's fine. Is one curriculum more time consuming than the other? I'm so curious to hear from those of you that have used these programs!
