  1. “The district procedure is that we do not complete online forms and all forms need to be approved.” the process is, the teacher downloads the form, completes it, the school approves it, and the school mails it out. I guess this is just the way it worked in the past.
  2. Hi, DS is in first grade in local public school. The school did his gifted evaluation and all his scores qualify for DYS. DYS requires a recommender that can comment on DS’s academic and intelligence excellence. Of course I asked his school teacher. She is more than happy to do that, but the school policy is that they can only sign pdf forms ( so the school can review and document them). DYS insists on the recommender to create an account and fill the online form. so here we are, staring at this silly problem. Did any other parents have similar problems? How would you suggest me to go around this? To find another recommender who is more technically accommodating but probably less qualified as a recommender just seems beating the purpose. thanks in advance for any suggestions.
