  1. I've been using Beyond the States as well and just signed up for her service. The database has been really helpful. I wish I had know about it for my other kids. DD is going into her senior year, so we missed the boat on the college credits. I didn't know you just needed the AP score. I'll have to look into that.
  2. Thanks for the link. Looks like this might be what I was looking for.
  3. Hi everyone! I am a former homeschooling mom who is looking at reentering the homeschool world as my youngest daughter enters her senior year of high school. I homeschooled one other child through high school and into college about 5 years ago, but, of course, this child's goals are different AND we will be homeschooling in a different state. We are moving to NC (Chapel Hill) in August. We are in the process of enrolling DD in DE classes at Durham Tech CC. She is totally on board with this and excited, but I have some questions. If anyone here has a high school student enrolled at the community college in NC, have you enrolled your child in the College Transfer Pathway but not taken all of the classes? DD is not interested in getting her Associate's Degree, so we are only interested in taking a few of the classes. Do you know if this will be an issue? She wants to apply to universities in Europe. From my research, it looks like it will be easier if she has an accredited diploma, so I'm leaning towards using an umbrella school. I want to be able to use our own curriculum. I've looked into Clonlara, but it seems expensive for just recordkeeping. Is anyone aware of less expensive options? In case it matters, she went to public school 9-11th grade, so we will only be homeschooling her senior year. I think that's it for now. My head is spinning, so I'm sure I'll have more questions later. In the meantime, I'd appreciate any advice! Thanks!
