  1. We ended up doing dual credit history for one of ours and really liked that. Used a Christian college.
  2. We did IEW with our kids. It was a great foundation for them. For the ones that ended up taking composition classes at MPOA, I think they are ready for college level. One of mine didn't take comp and I felt like they maybe were not quite ready, but it's hard to say. I'd add a comp class if possible. We had a great experience with it, and they had a lot of fun writing.
  3. A couple of mine ended up taking some online composition classes. I agree with above, sometimes they pick up on more with other teachers. It was so helpful to have someone else grade their papers and see them sort of "own" their own learning and experience. We used MPOA and had a great experience.
  4. From what I'm understanding, it's generally good to keep up vitamin levels regardless (I could be sooooooo much better, lol!!). But I think especially having Vit D in addition to a multi is extra beneficial. Then if you get the actual virus, you should definitely take copious amounts of Vit C, a bit extra Vit D, Zinc, and I've heard Melatonin can be helpful, too - not just for sleeping, but there is some way it can help. I did all that when I had it last year, at a period where I know my immune system was bad. I *think* I prevented from getting worse symptoms (mine were bad - but didn't go to hospital) - because I was diligent with the vitamins.
  5. We have some offered through a local public school system - my kids have taken some over the years. For the right kid, they can be great. For the lazy kid, they can be rough and need a lot of oversight! I've had kids power through material pretty quickly - generally things at the public school level are quite a bit easier. Anyway - they are free for us. Do you guys have free classes in your areas?
