  6. I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. We've put up some photos of our lives on our blog. Please consider it a heartfelt Christmas card and hugs to everyone. Thank you for sharing all your wisdom on this site. I could not have home-schooled the boys without this site. God bless each and everyone here. Love, Sumi
  7. Hello, My name is Sumi. I have been coming to WTM forum way back when there was an old one. I have not been coming for a while now because I had to fight for my life because of breast cancer. I had the same diagnosis as you. For some reason, I wanted to visit WTM yesterday and today to see how things have changed, and I came across your post. I want to offer you a great hope that everything will be okay. I had to go through Chemo and a bi-lateral mastectomy. We have a blog/website that has some information on the choices that you have which most women don't know of. It is a blog about us and our life after breast cancer. Here is the link. If you need more information, please contact me or my husband at the e-mail address at the website. http://AlohaHowdy.com My heart broke when I saw your post. I know what you are going through. I am cancer free now because of my wonderful doctors. My doctors are world renown, some of the best in the world. We are working on the Aloha Howdy Festival so that women will have more knowledge about breast cancer. I prayed for you. God bless you and your family. Love, Sumi
  8. I have seen the movie before and the part about Fantine is the very reason I hesitated. I did not know how the book would portray her life or how explicitly it detailed her story. I will have to read it myself first and we shall see in about couple more years. Thanks again for your input :001_smile:
  9. Thank you all for your posts. My son is taking an acting class this summer, and he saw a poster on Les Miserable at the theater. He asked me if he could read this book, and I really wasn't sure for I have never read this book. I will encourage him to find some other summer readings. Thank you all so much for your help :001_smile:
  10. Thank you Gardenmom for the ISBN number. I will check them out. I guess I'll have to wait till October for the PSAT.
  11. Yes, I just found this out myself. Thank you for posting Kareni :001_smile:
  12. Someone told me that there was one in April. I think they said SSAT. What is the difference between SSAT and PSAT? Doesn't the SAT count permanently towards college? Thank you for letting me know. :)
  13. My son (8th grader)wants to take his first PSAT very soon. Thanks to everyone on suggesting The Rocket Review Revolution and Princeton Review's Cracking the PSAT. I could not find the latter one from Amazon.com. Could someone please post the ISBN number? Also, if there are any other materials that has helped you, please share with me. Thank you kindly.
