I cannot even imagine the fear you must have been feeling for your son. I do hope this provides a solution. I am so frustrated by the lack of .... thinking on this board. If it doesn't come from Fox or Sara Palin most of them don't believe it is true!

And at some point...I have to go to bed...but the board is addictive tonight!!! (10:15 pm here)

Just got the morning papers...aparently it was the "will of god" and "sachin's second coming!"

BTW - I just checked online (we don't have TV so I didn't know about the Tendulkar thing) - apparently the country HALTED between 5-6:15 tonight to watch cricket. I actually do think they might call for a holiday in his honor. This country is CRAZY for cricket. Thank god for the invention of 20/20 cricket - now I can actually sit and watch a game with hubby and have it be over in a reasonable amount of time!

Hve you read Netherland by Joseph O'Neill? A book about another white guy playing cricket in the US. I couldn't get into it but you might enjoy it!

Thanks for fighting the good fight over at the mythology discussion. As a person raising my children to be both Hindu and Christian (wouldn't that blow the minds of some people here!) I wanted to jump in but just couldn't find the right words. I appreciate the time you took to make your points!

Hi! Nice to meet other moms in India! How long have you been here? We have finsihed three years and plan to stay for a while longer. DH is Indian but I am the one I think who wants to stay more than he does. My DD was 5 when we moved and she thinks she wants to go back but I think she would be surprised how much she missed from here! DS was only 1 and he is a little Indian boy through and through!
