  1. I use Canva for my business graphic design. There's a free version that's pretty good, and you can do a lot with it. If she wants something more advanced, Gimp is a good free alternative PhotoShop.
  2. Thank you all for your wise words and advice. I really appreciate it!
  3. I guess I need to look into curriculum more. They're both doing more challenging curriculum (they're both doing Beast Academy successfully), but the pace at which they finish and the work they need to put into it differs.
  4. Hello! I am homeschooling my 9-year-old twin boys for the first time this year, and they are using the same materials. I feel like the materials we're using are great for both kids, but the kids have differing abilities and will likely progress through the material at different rates. My issue is that the child who is slower to get things done gets frustrated and feels like he's "not smart" because his brother gets through things with more ease. I've tried having them work in different rooms, and have them work on different subjects at different times, but the tendency to compare doesn't go away. It breaks my heart to see my son feel like he's not measuring up - he's actually doing great, but he compares himself to his twin and thinks he's behind. Has anyone else homeschooled twins who are competitive with each other? Any ideas for helping them focus on themselves instead of comparing themselves to each other?
