  1. NO, but neither is what you describe in your OP something Id consider living like an animal.
  2. I didn't realize he was urinating and defecating in his room or eating out of a trough. Sorry, of course, no.
  3. We are know how this is gonna go. OP knows how this thread is going to go. Is it really worth it to say something? Vast majority say no if he's a great kid. OP will disagree that it is. Perhaps OP is gently pushing son out to move.

    WWYD?

I would suck it up and deal. If they asked, they want them there. Unless we are talking someone abusive or along those lines.
  5. The people that tend to wanna call if I respond to their text, I sit on. Any chance you're doing that? If it's something I don't know, need to think about or requires more thought then a yes or no, I may be slower. I am overwhelmed with life now and and running in circles. It makes it hard to even stop and absorb a text let alone respond. It's one of the easier things to push aside in my hectic day if it's something not important. I do read/see most texts within a 1/2 hour of them being sent unless, sleeping, just because they come across my watch.
  6. No, I don't write down anything anywhere. Just check the account weekly.
  7. I would first decide if you are even okay with getting a hoverboard, then if that's a yes, go from there with how to handle the younger sibling(s). I am in the camp that it's not fair to the older to not get because of the younger. I think a talk on age requirements for that type of toy is good and/or do a birthday. I think this is an issue that's not going to go away anyway with a spread in age. What I've found is my son will use his hoverboard but also his bike, as it just puts him outside being active. Or him and a friend take turns between the two. I have not noticed a decline in physical activity from it. We only allow it to be charged when we are home and awake. It can not be plugged in otherwise.
  8. I would play a little dumb. Hi, great to hear from you! I've been wondering how you are and what was going on with ___ since I hand't heard anything when I emailed about make up times in March and getting the shirt to you, or when sign up was in June Are you getting my emails? I will venture there is no response or at least you will have more details on why you didn't hear anything and that can help you move forward.
  9. Are other countries not able to try it? Are they not studying this? If this is all political here...we surely cannot be the only country with a team of doctors and scientist and wouldn't they/aren't they then showing results? The results we are supposedly hiding or saying are false. I admit I am not very educated on this topic and am truly trying to understand.
  10. I have taken it for years for my PCOS. I am another who it made nauseous and gave me diarrhea. Without fail. I could never get over the GI issues either, so I take it at night and it's been fine.
  11. XC practices have resumed where I live, with precautions. I am trusting our governors lead.
  12. I would be pretty upset with myself at the thought of denying a person an opportunity based on their looks and/or gender or because I'm worried about what people think.
  13. You can simply say, she's lovely and move on. There was no need for clarification. You should be capable to control that angle of the conversation. I call BS. You either knew you were poking and this was the likely result or you are really really bad at foresight. Either way, not your news to share given the entire story and could have easily been side stepped.
  14. If I was feeling sensitive, it would bother me. I don't like to cook but get stuck with the majority of it. DH will make suggestions with absolutely no ill will, but it still bugs me. I don't want suggestions. I don't even want to have to be cooking. I'll usually just stop making that dish and let him do it when it's his night.
  15. We've done family feud with another family, it was fun! Obviously, one person has to look up all the questions and be the announcer.
  16. They almost always have a 2 week one, I believe.
  17. Beachbody on demand has been a big hit here. (and I HATE mtm's). 3 of us, includin 2 teen boys, use the videos and all have our own favorites. It's been worth the subscription.
  18. Thank you! I wish I could change my username.
  19. What a horrible situation. I am sorry. I cannot imagine being in that position and don't want too. My fear, aside from the ones already mentioned, is him getting sick and being far away. It's a real possibility. Even if he stays healthy, I would think about how long he will need to be gone and that that could be 1-2 months for a multitude of reasons, and then what he could bring back. I would be worried about anyone getting sick where you are and him being away. Perhaps it's all worth it. Just what would be going through my mind.
  20. The difference is she is a female Democrat governor who has criticized President Trump and is on his endless hit list for speaking against him. She's now a target and most be devoured and destroyed.
  21. One resource room teacher for a k-4 building with apx 450 kids. All her kids have IEP's and she is overloaded. This does no include other supports, just the resource room teacher.
  22. So, I know it's really not that simple, but you need to find a new doctor. Ask around!! This one is not meeting your needs. You are asking for help, been told there is an issue, know there can be somethings to try, and being turn away. No bueno! I have PCOS. Diagnosed by my primary after kids in my mid 30's and supported by both her and my OB. It's out there.
  23. If that turns them off, then they are probably a little to formal for you anyways! Good luck, I really think it's just to soon to have heard back as well.
  24. My guess is the money never got applied as well. Out of curiosity, Id lay another one out and around to see what happens this time.
