  1. I highly recommend you join a couple of the following yahoo groups. They have a files section that includes a 'starter guide' for those new to BJU. They also have additional supplemental files that can help with the program. BJU_Distance_Learning_Online bjuphomesc HomeSat HomeSatHelp
  2. My kids used T4L as a supplement in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. The language arts program was great!
  3. We also got rid of the tiles and just have personal (small) whiteboards for each kid. We also went through the program at a faster pace.
  4. I don't believe they would bother you. I waited way too long to get my son speech help because of those worries. After paying a lot of money to a private speech therapist we finally went to our local school district. He was tested and was approved for help in math and speech. We participated in the math class for 3 months and in speech class with the local school district for 2 years. When we decided to drop the math assistance and keep speech, they were kind and just adjusted our IEP. They didn't come after us when we pulled him from the math program (even after knowing the math test results that allowed him in the program) We ended up with a math tutor that worked better for my son. Good luck!
  5. Thank you! I have been looking for something like this.
  6. We have used T4L with my DS, primarily math and language arts, for two years. He has loved the program and I highly recommend it. Often, he wants me nearby to 'share' the fun time he is having on the LA program. Depending upon the age, I would suggest maintaining a math drill time outside of T4L. Sandra
  7. Does anyone know of a writing program that is similar to IEW's writing fundamentals but is more financially feasible?
  8. I have heard of Teaching Textbooks and Time for Learning. Does anyone know of any online or computer based math curriculums available for a 4th grader?
