  1. I saw your reply and glad she is not planning to trick him. I am not sure what her beliefs are but my encouragement would to pray, pray for peace and pray that her desire be increased or to be taken and for her husband to have that desire placed on his heart or not.
  2. I checked out Phonics Pathways from the library after buying 100 ez lessons I did not like the format so it sits collecting dust, I borrowed ordinary guide from the library I thought it was good a bit scripted. So I just ordered Phonics Pathways and am really looking forward to it! In the mean time we are using Bob Books and some readers. I have some ETC books that we are going to start as well.
  3. I had issues when I clicked on the link from my email, but when I copied and pasted it into my browser I had no issues.
  4. Another vote for FIAR its wonderful. I have heard good things about MFW but have no expierence.
  5. My DH has to take his vacation next week it just works out better that way and I was bummed I wanted him to take it the next week because thats when ps school starts back up around here.
  6. I'd do the breastmilk like someone else suggested express into a cup then put into her eye.
  7. any garlic powder or fresh minced garlic to add? I think it would be good over rice. If you have carrots maybe add some diced carrots.
  8. Oh I am saving those links. Now I want chicken pot pie..yum!
  9. I'd eat is as well. If it sat out during really hot weather for weeks I personally would not..but I keep my almonds, walnuts etc. in the freezer so the oils in them don't go rancid.
  10. I think an offer to clean is a great idea. Also something I heard a pastor say at my friends son's funeral was to send a card every now and then..when someone first passes the family if flooded with hugs, tears, food, flowers, help..but 3 months go by and its less..then 6 months a year the family still remember the loss and everyone else seems to have forgotten...so to send a card or something to let them know you are thinking of them still can be a huge blessing.
  11. I'm new here and new to homeschooling. I have a 5 & 3 year old. I read this post and now I'm scared. I wonder if I'm equipped to do this big job of homeschooling! I can tell this will be a great place to learn for myself :) I learned A,E,I,O,U and sometimes Y.
  12. I'd call and you can say what it looked like and they can decide from there.
  13. I don't think you will regret getting a freezer. My grandmother gave us her older upright and its been such a blessing. With berries being in season right now I'm freezing a bunch up, which will come in handy in the winter.
