I am new to the forum and so happy to find a large group of encouraging people! We have homeschooled for seven years now and I finally feel like I am understanding how to do it. :)

Wow, I had no idea these existed! I have a homeschooled high schooler who is so math and engineering focused that he is going to need a strong tech degree. My husband and I are both U.C. grads and I have been wondering how to find courses for his last few years that will challenge him. He is doing some of the MIT Online materials, and most of his transcript will likely be measured by CLEP tests, but this looks really great! Thank you for sharing them!

There is a book that really helped my daughter (a 2e kiddo). She, like my husband, is dyslexic and spelling was the biggest hurdle for her. Here is the reference: The Gift of Dyslexia, Revised and Expanded: Why Some of the Smartest People Can't Read...and How They Can Learn by Ronald D. Davis Also your daughter might be able to work through some of the Barton method materials as an adult. Mrs. Barton's husband taught my daughter viola for years and the methods they both used to help her worked wonders. I hope that helps. I know how much issues like this can effect self esteem and I am sorry your daughter is still struggling. :(
