I can either suck it up or risk my relationship with my sister who is absolutely unrealistic about her two girls. We are very close.
I'm so pissed my dh is keeping his distance in case he's collateral damage.
I'm sure some of you remember that this sumer we gave my niece a registered Khemosabi bred Arabian. He was/is green broke. We gave him to her with the expectation that she would finish his training, show him, enjoy him etc. Now she says she doesn't have time and wants to sell him. I say why didn't she think of that before we gave her such a valuable animal.
I'm livid. Barely three months and she doesn't have time. I called her mom and told her that we would be happy to come and get him and finish him ourselves and that he would be here after college and summers.
She said she would talk to her dd. To me it's a no brainer. So now if she doesn't agree I'll just have to suck it up. &*$%#%^ sums up how I feel.
I've got my own little feral colony going in one of our barns. I thought I'd catch the female before she gave birth but it didn't happen and I can't find the kittens. Makes me so sad for her and her babies. Now I can't take her in because I'm afraid the babies might starve. Ugh.
Nope. She's gray and white. We have three calicos, white and black, then black and white, gray, cream with points, yellow, yellow and white and a black. My feral is a dark tabby. I do not have a tortie but my grandkids do.
OMGoodness!!! We must be related. I have a big catio, spay/neuter all mine, have a heated outbuilding for them in winter, feed ferals and travel with cat food in the car in case of need. I do not travel with mine for fear of someone getting out and lost forever. I have been known to cry when leaving Baby for a couple of days. My dh is a saint. ( Although he is also cat crazy and has his own personal terrorists.)
Who else has a tiny, four legged, furry terrorist that runs their lives? This is Baby. She is an indoor kitty, goes outside only with me watching her, has her own room. Notice her little bed is on my bed. She prefers it there although she actually sleeps on my feet. I do my best not to move. She is part of the reason I have my own bedroom. When I go out of town dh has to send me what we call "proof of life" pictures every day.
I have 12 cats but Baby gets special treatment. She's better than a dog and much more loyal.
Pics of your terrorist required.
ETA- the flecks of crap on my bedspread are catnip.
The worst part of sitting through this movie was the two ladies next to us that literally moaned and sighed their way through the movie.
That and I knew The Joker was playing one theatre over and I wanted to see that.
My gut would be to bring them home. Older dd needs to play on the family team and do what works for all. Later she might have an opportunity to do something different.
I have a Canadian dil but it was no big deal as she already had dual citizenship. My granddaughters are getting dual citizenship as well. I have a South Korean dil who is not a citizen because SK does not allow dual citizenship and she is not ready to give her SK status up yet. She has to jump through hoops regularly.
Once I dislocated my shoulder badly while trying to make a snow angel. ER visit and a month recovery. Plus I had my dd filming me so I could show my littlest buddies what MaBelle was doing. You can hear me on the video saying "Um.....turn it off."
