Dragged my feet about getting eyewear, so instead of getting a glimpse, I ordered glasses in preparation for next year.

Glad this is over for you, Dawn, and so sorry they have been so petty and lots of other adjectives. After we bought our place, we found vehicle ramps under a storage shed, called the previous owners (who now live next door) and they came and got them. Well, I went to Hobby Lobby, and got some things. Haven't gotten it all together yet, will post a picture when it's done. I need to get some pillar type candles-or something to go on the candle holders. I'm not that great at decorating, but I still enjoy it, and I missed decorating for the 4th of July because of my foot surgery.

Only 2 of us here unless DS comes in for the holidays, and I fix our plates at the stove and bring them over.

We are home. Surgery went fine, a little bleeding, so I am watching him closely. He had a horrible sinus surgery that was a different procedure many years ago, where he lost 5 units of blood internally after we got home. We didn't know he was bleeding. Pretty scary stuff.
