  8. Wow-thanks for that. I have heard that many people still have pain after bunion surgery. I have them on both feet, but up until now, have no pain. Just the difficulty of finding shoes that are wide enough.
  9. I have not tried icing it-I figured the time for that is past. I've been out of school for 4 days now, and although I have spent time in the recliner and go to bed early every night, I haven't been off it completely. I have been in the recliner most of today. How long is "totally off of it?"
  10. I'm having terrible pain with every step in my left foot right across the top and through my bunion. It doesn't hurt when I am not on it. Sometimes the ankle hurts as well, but not always. That may be related to walking differently because of the pain. This started the last day we had state testing (May 12) in which I actually paced for 4 hours. There was a 30 minute break, but the actual test is 4 hours that I didn't stop walking. I take meloxicam and have added in some tylenol and ibuprofen with no relief. Doctor told me about Voltaren, which I intend to pick up this afternoon and see if it gives me any relief. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of pain? At what point should I seek more care, or will it eventually heal?

  15. Lack of empathy-yes!! I see this when I am driving. Usually, I am a safe driver and make smart choices, but sometimes I turn left when I maybe should have waited. I honestly think the person meeting me would rather run me over than slow down. I've been noticing this for the last several years. Come on people, let's show some grace.
