  1. I don't know about any suite hotels in Chicago, but a couple of years ago we stayed at Comfort Inn Schaumburg with a group of 6 adults and 2 young children. We went to Legoland and Medieval Times in Schaumburg. We did not plan to go into Chicago but the staff at the hotel told us how easy it was to take the shuttle to the blue line train at the airport. We ended up going for dinner one night and then again the next day. The hotel has suites with two queen beds and a sofa bed. I think we paid just about $90 per room. Some rooms have the option of adjoining to a king with a sofa bed. Breakfast is free. Rooms have mini-fridge and microwaves. There is a 24-hour shuttle to the airport where you can quickly get on the blue line that takes you near Millennium Park (Washington stop) for $5. I think a return trip is only $2?. The entire trip from the hotel to the city takes about 75 to 90 minutes to get downtown. We made the trip easily with our big group. The shuttle from the hotel might even go to the Metra commuter stop, but I think that is a little more expensive. This hotel or another one nearby might be an option if you can’t find accommodation in the city that works for you. The hotel is walking distance to a Target store and a few minutes by shuttle to Legoland. The hotel has an indoor pool and a laundry room.
