  2. If he likes Saxon and if he isn't having problems with it, it's a complete curriculum. Or Check out Teaching Textbooks. They have it online now but you still can get the text books for 2.0.
  3. Jolly Grammar Or Critical Thinking Co. Language Smarts or Editor in Chief Easy Grammar is also good.
  4. There are lots of other books. If it is teaching something that you specially like, maybe there's another one about the same topic that is more interesting.

  6. To have a few paper textbooks or reference books around, and not just rely on the internet is great. Also having a Bible, and not just relying on a computer Bible, is a good idea if weather or something makes the computer unavailable.
  7. Get a large piece of paper, so it can be folded and taken with you. Example: Use the inside of strong gift wrap. Don't make it too large, so it is not hard to handle. They may enjoy looking at RandMcNally Kids' Road Atlas.

  13. Scheduling Methods: A time slot for each, and the student pick up whatever they want of that subject until they all get finished. Example: Time Slot for science: Each time they could pick one of the following ( Explore the World of Physics, Bite-size Physics, Instant Egghead Guide to Physics + 7 go-alongs) until they all get finished. Another Idea schedule a different one for different day of the week. If you want each option scheduled each day, divide the science hour into 20 minute sections for the 3 options; or if you have half an hour for science 10 minute sections.
  14. Some Ideas: A nice wooden table at one end, with office chairs that adjust up and down, so they can be the right height for the students. The right height helps with eye strain. Another table at the other end to hold the current science or art project A book shelf with a shelf for each student, and another shelf or so for reference or educational books A green plant or so A wall map and a few educational charts
  15. Teaching Textbook if that's what he likes. Maybe he needs shorter math lessons (like two or three shorter sessions a day), and then take the time to go slow and focus on accuracy.
  16. Victory Drill Book is great for gaining speed in reading. The teacher does short timed drills with the student.
