  1. American Eagle is popular here and they fit well. My son wears the same size as yours.
  2. I'm perimenopause and vegetarian and having hot flashes like crazy.
  3. Oh! Congratulations! We just went under contract on a house today, and will put ours on the market next Monday! I hope things go as smoothly for us as they are for you!
  4. I think it's nice to do something for them. If they break up, you aren't obligated to do it every year and if they get married, you're already doing something nice for your new family ❤️
  5. I think yes, it would be different. You have one child - and you don't speak. I can't imagine the pain you are in. Though, I guess, if you still feel you made the right decision, then you probably aren't the kind of mom I thought you were. So maybe I'll just bow out.
  6. You did not go to his wedding. He is your ONLY son. Isn't that enough?
  7. www.covidactnow.org shows almost every state in the US as in imminent or active outbreak.
  8. If this is your son - ask for his forgiveness. Ask him how to make it right. He is your child. There is nothing I would not do to find a way to repair it. I'd want him to be at the wedding simply to see his face. I can't imagine an estrangement this long from my son. 😞
  9. I'm thankful for the amazing progress my son has made with his mental health this year, for my DH's new job that will be life changing, and for my daughter's joy, creativity and light she brings to this world.
  10. They will look for things the state did wrong, support mom didn't get, a lawyer who didn't adequately fight for her, etc. She may be given another lawyer for the appeals process if this one isn't good at her job.
  11. TPR procedures can take a long time, and the TPR hearing could be scheduled months away. After it's done, she can and likely will appeal. That can take more time - years even. Her lawyer will absolutely defend her even if it appears to you that there is no reason to do so.
  12. If there's any chance of sexual activity on BCP, the low dose is something to be cautious of, depending on your DD's weight.
  13. I thought I had posted in this thread, but maybe I didn't. At any rate, we tried the "add your young adult to a credit card" with our son when he turned 16. He just turned 18 and has a credit score in the high 700s just from being an authorized user on one of my CCs. Just an idea in case anyone else wants to do the same.
  14. We are no-dairy here too. Also, no lotion tissues. They are awful!
  15. I guess my friend's family is more normal than I thought - and we are definitely on the high end. I take multiple allergy meds, so I guess we just have to live with the extra expense!
  16. That's our situation too. But it seems excessive. I've gone through 2 boxes of 190 tissues already since Friday.
  17. A friend of mine commented the other day that they only use 2-3 boxes of tissues a year at her house. We go through 2-3 boxes a week (and occasionally rolls of toilet paper also used for noses). Do you use a lot of tissues?
  18. GI symptoms (vomiting, diarrhea) are definitely part of COVID.
  19. My mother in law made a comment once about "no tvs in the bedroom - bedrooms are for sleep and sex" and I was so mortified. But we've kept the tv out of the bedroom! LOL
  20. Planners, pens, school supplies, doggie snuggles, time with my kids, time with DH alone, sleep, BOOKS
  21. Gardein has several - chick'n scallopini, Ultimate Beefless Ground (ground beef substitute), Chipotle Black Bean Burger, and Garden Veggie Burger Beyond Burgers/Sausages
