  1. I've lived in the northeast my entire life and have really never seen this to be a question or statement made at all.
  2. I truly believe the unvaxed should be last priority - not first. (Unless it can't be used because of medical issue)
  3. When we did this we set it aside in our budget with their name on it so it wasn't touched. What did you do for the one whose money you didn't have?
  4. You were hostile first, though. And I don't think you being with an older child has any bearing on it. I'm sure he's sick of hand sanitizer. I don't use it at all, and if I had to after every customer I'd definitely have cracked and bleeding hands. You felt you were in a position of authority over him, and treated him as such. He let you know you weren't. I'd just use the self checkout in the future.
  5. I honestly think you were rude, but I don't think he will retaliate. He's probably used to customers treating him badly.
  6. In my case, being early has always been a sign of anxiety - OCD.
  7. In searching this, I found an article that said some school system was providing litter boxes for use in classrooms during active shooter situations...but I'm not even sure how real that was. Nothing about furries and litter boxes.
  8. If your family will not kill each other, I think it's a great idea.
  9. OMG I could NEVER handle that.
  10. I would send him with at least $200 in cash (kept in different places) and tell him to have a good time!
  11. Our house is big - we have 3 robot vacuums (one on each floor) and a regular vacuum, as well as a carpet cleaner for the areas that aren't hardwood.
  12. Would she want to be if she didn't have to work? What are the divorce laws like in your state?
  13. My DD can't have a college board account because she's not 13, so I don't know how/when we will ever find out.
  14. We don't actually know that...Scarlett has implied the mother isn't the most attentive. Who knows?
  15. I was specifically talking about neglect/abuse situations. But this is a good point too.
  16. I didn't continue to recommend it. I pointed out that in a situation where neither parent wants to parent like they should - it's an option. In this case, it appears Scarlett and her husband will step in if needed. This child is lucky.
  17. Thank you for continuing by commenting on it again this afternoon. There's nothing ugly about adoption. Sometimes it's the best decision for a child in a tough situation.
  18. Seriously? Neither of them wants to raise the baby! Maybe Scarlett does - in which case, that may be the best option.
