I know more people right now who currently have Covid than I have at any other time during the pandemic. In addition to several friends, family, and students, I also have it along with my son, daughter-in-law, and both granddaughters.
When I saw the title of this thread, I could hardly wait to read what happened. I hate that you and your family have to deal with this misery, but the retelling is hilarious.
That is bizarre behavior from the lady who took your cart. Did anyone else see the title of the thread and think we were about to revive the shopping cart return or not kerfluffle?
I'm a full-time college biology professor at and my guess is the teacher is looking for something they specifically discussed in class. In my opinion, the question is worded oddly. Regulation of what? The plasma membrane helps maintain homeostasis within the cell and to an extent outside the cell. It does this through a variety of protein receptors located within or on the cell membrane. Another factor of the cell membrane she might want to mention is the resting membrane potential. When a stimulus such as a molecule binding to a receptor causes a chemically gated protein channel to open allowing an ion to enter due to a concentration gradient, it can trigger a change in membrane potential. I can go on and provide specific examples, but maybe this is enough to get your daughter thinking of something the teacher might have mentioned.
70/100 - didn't know 2 of them and missed the first question because I did not realize I was answering when I clicked. I thought there was a click and then submit routine going to happen.
