  1. Thanks Clarita, that's a great idea! I never thought of looking towards the schools. I will give it a try!
  2. In connection with the book "The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind," our group had a fun party. One of the activities was to let them tear apart some old electronics to see what they look like on the inside. We had a dad at the party who was a tech guy, so he could tell us what the things did and how they worked. My DD12 was absolutely and completely engaged and LOVED it! Who would have guessed! She didn't want to stop! I am wondering if anyone has any fun ideas or other ways for her to start to learn and explore this area to see if she might want to do something in this field as a career. She is really strong with math, so that is a plus, I would assume. Any other suggestions? What should I have her try as far as classes? Please help! I am a tech flop! I am so lost in this area, so any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
  3. Perfect. This is exactly what I needed! Thanks for the help! I knew the great minds here would have the answer! ?
  4. I admit my internet search skills are lacking. I can't seem to find the student information page that the kids fill out for the PSAT for this year (2018). Specifically, I need to see the page so that I can make sure my child has all the information and knows what to fill in. I know he needs his name, address, etc. But I also need to know the other questions. I think he has to fill in some kind of code for home schooling. What is that code? Also, how do I get the scores delivered to our address rather than the school that is hosting the test. If someone can give me a direct link to a copy of the page they actually "bubble in," I would be very grateful! Thanks in advance.
