  3. My daughter is a gluten free vegan. Talk about hard to plan meals . I'll give you a typical day. She eats gluten free/ dairy free breads, toast, bagels, muffins etc along with fruit smoothies in the morning. Lunch could consist of corn chip, salsa, beans and rice. It could also be veggies and hummus. She also loves bean/ veggie burgers on gf buns Dinner might be gf pasta and sauce, lentil soup, veggie bites, bakes potatoes / carrots/ onions , kale and quinoa bowls ..
  4. Going this Friday and planning on just browsing the curriculum, no sessions. So fun. Taking my time, going to some of the displays, avoiding others, lol
  5. This is awesome! I would still love to see samples, just because I can't wait!
  6. My kids make their own breakfast and they need to be done by nine. That's about it. :) Even if they say they are not hungry, I make them get something small, because I know in a hour, our school will be interrupted by hunger and I don't want that happening. They don't always like it or me, lol, but that's okay.
  7. It was chicken and rice last night with sautéed ominous and peppers . Tonight is tacos with refried beans, Spanish rice, pork in verde sauce and chips. Tomorrow most likely pasta and meat sauce with garlic bread. Sunday is always soup and homemade bread. I'm a very simple person.
  8. We loved it. Went with my two teen daughters . I felt it was very clean considering and much better that batman vs super man for sure.
  9. I like and love my husband. We both work really hard at communicating and never yell. We have been through some of the hardest things, and have gotten so strong because of it. It wasn't always like this, but I'm so glad it is right now. â¤ï¸
  10. I love math u see for gamma- Zeta . I do feel it misses some things though.
  11. I just finished a 20 day juice fast last month and lost 10 pounds. I felt wonderful afterwards. I have kept it off and am on day 2 of another 3 week fast. Bone broth fast does not seem like something I could do though. I think it is a very personal decision.
  12. My 15 yr old goes to bed at 10, my 13 yr old goes to bed at 9:30, and my 11 year old at 9. They usually get up between 7:30 and 8. School starts at nine. My six year old goes to bed at 8:30, and doesn't get up till maybe 9 am. Thank you Lord! I love that he sleeps in :)

  16. I take t3 as well as synthroid daily. When I combine the two, it really helpes my energy level. I haven't had any side effects except more energy, lol

  19. For my six year old, we are going to focus on reading and crafts this summer, and a bit of math. My middle two will read lots of literature. They are also going to finish up anything leftover from the year. My oldest will work on her graphic design course and also lots of literature. My younger three will take art lessons once a week at a local art class. My oldest two will continue to work on their instruments. My second oldest will take horse riding lessons and volunteer once a week there. I also hope to go camping once this summer, and also visit their cousins once as well. Other than that, there will be lots of relaxing, and watching movies in the afternoon â¤ï¸
  20. With my daughters algebra, if she gets a D or F on anything, she almost always does it over/ corrects her work. I never understood algebra in high school and barely passed, and I look back and it was a waste of a year. I really want my dd to grasp concepts. I don't make her correct silly mistakes though, unless it caused her to bomb the assignment. Another thing that has brought my dds grade up/ less silly mistakes , is I make sure she does her work without any distraction around. No siblings, phone, music etc.. It has worked wonders for her, but everyone is different. :)
  21. We live in the suburbs here in CA and I love it. Our house is about 2400 square feet, and I honestly wouldn't mind living in half that size. I love that we have so much within ten minutes of our house. Sports, classes, shopping, pretty much everything.
  22. It worked great here! We have 15, 13, 11, and 6. Our youngest brings sunshine to us all. â¤ï¸
  23. I am blessed and live by many different types of homeschoolers. I have found that it really doesn't help me make friends though. It is more for my kids. I take them to band, but the moms there already have their friends, which is fine with me. :) I also drop them off at art class but the moms there just do a quick drop off and pick up, like I do. My kids are joining a science group next year with homeschoolers that have science lab and activities once a week. Who knows, I might meet someone there, but I'm not stressed about it. My kids do wish they had more friends, but more isn't always best or better. I don't know. I pray for more friends for my kids, but I also know that they are fine where they are at. My oldest two get lonely sometimes.
  24. I would still give it a try! You could spread it out. Example: have your kiddo watch the video and do the problems he does with them on day 1 and then on day two, finish the rest of the problems. This way it would not seem so overwhelming :)
