  1. Azo is the most awesome thing ever for UTIs! Immediately stops the pain and urgency! Taking them now myself along with antibiotics.
  2. I think there is hope. We have continually had new and old cats in our house for probably 30 years. We still have some that only tolerate one another and they do occasionally growl and scrap, but as long as they can get away from each other, it is always fine. Just let them loose in the house under a watchful eye and, like somebody said above, keep a spray bottle handy for unacceptable behavior. The only time you need to worry is if one cat is constantly attacking the other and the second one cannot or will not defend itself. Or, of course, if they get into serious vicious fights. Cats do tend to make a lot more noise and sound much scarier than things actually are.

No. Nobody can see if anybody else visited their page, regardless of what all the fake apps and whatnot claim. Not possible. If person A blocks person B, person B cannot see anything that person A posts on facebook. They cannot even see that person A is on facebook at all. Their name will not even come up. Also, unless person A unblocks person B, it is the same for them - they cannot even see anything person B posts or even that they are on there.
  4. Yep. Check out Jason Fung. Fasting can actually completely turn type 2 diabetes around. I do a form of intermittent fasting myself. I love this book of his and it is on sale right now. https://smile.amazon.com/Obesity-Code-Unlocking-Secrets-Weight-ebook/dp/B01C6D0LCK/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=the+obesity+code+jason+fung&qid=1549901256&s=gateway&sr=8-1
  5. Seems to me that whenever Facebook updates or changes something to their site, there are glitches like that everywhere until they finish. That might be the case.
  6. As at least one pp has said about herself, I am a completely different person than I was 30 years ago. I would not even like my younger self at all were we to somehow meet now. My beliefs, actions, motivations, etc. are nearly 180 degrees from what they were when I was younger. People grow and mature and change all the time. I hate when people dig up junk from the past to judge people in the present. If the person is repentant, let it go.
  7. Yep. I do it all the time. Life is short and books are plentiful.
  8. Turbotax online for ours and Taxact online for DD's. I much prefer Turbotax and have used it for years, but wanted to try Taxact so used it for DD. It was ok.
  9. I had a dozen cats and 5 boxes in the house at one time (down to 3 cats and 2 boxes now). I found that you really need to scoop poop pretty much as soon as they do it to keep that smell away. However, I found that pine pellet horse bedding from Tractor Supply is the absolute best thing for keeping urine odor away. It breaks down into sawdust as they use it, then you can tell when it needs changed. It is also flushable for pooper scooping. Before that, I had discovered Feline Pine, which was really awesome but just as awesomely expensive. The horse bedding is about 6 bucks for 40 pounds and lasts forever. Nobody ever smells the boxes in my house (and I have a really tiny house). I have even had people comment on how surprised they were that we had that many cats.
  10. I just watched the first one. She is ridiculously adorable. 🙂 I enjoyed it.
  11. Well, I won't be any help in making you like it. I have one myself and have only used it a few times. Like you, I prefer the slow cooker. If I want to make something quickly, I just fry or bake or otherwise cook it on the stove, which seems way easier to me. I just think everybody has their own preferred ways of cooking, and we should just get the tools that help us do that. I wish I hadn't gotten the IP. I know it does all these wonderful things, but none of them are easier, or even faster, than the way I already cook.
  12. So sorry. This year has been crappy for us too. We lost 3 precious kitties and our 11 year old sweet little dog. I know how hard it is. 😞
  13. I am one of the "wait until they are ready" group. Oldest dd was a month shy of 3 when she was "trained," and youngest dd was a month shy of 4. But the thing is, we went straight to underwear in a day, like pps have said. No accidents. No "training" and stress and what I call "mama training" because mama is the one who has to do all the work. You just have to decide what is important to you. Potty training just wasn't on my radar.
  14. I would do the ham in the microwave, since it really only needs heated. As a matter of fact, we get the precooked ham and actually prefer it cold.
  15. If you are baking them close to the bottom burner, instead of higher up, that could be the problem. Also, what I used to do when I had an old gas oven that tended to burn stuff on the bottom was to put a sheet pan under whatever pan I was baking in. It provided a double layer on the bottom and kept things from burning.
  16. I have had to go back and add sugar to different kinds of dough before after forgetting it, so I'd say go ahead and beat it in, if you haven't thrown it out already. Alternately, it may be fine with half the sugar.
  17. I have actually gotten a call from my own number with my name on the caller ID. I am so sick of this crap. I get at least a dozen junk calls a day on my new tracfone. I never answer any that aren't in my contacts. I have my do not disturb set so it doesn't even ring unless it is someone in my contacts. But then, I don't use my cell as my regular phone, so very few people have the number.
  18. Hulu has a couple live TV options. You can see what channels are offered before signing up. One has limited commercials but there is a more expensive one for no ads.
  19. I always use live chat. But like others have said, I have had USPS mark things delivered that weren't yet. I chatted with Amazon last time right after the mail ran and marked it delivered and the mail truck brought it later that evening. https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/contact-us/general-questions.html
  20. Exactly. What she said. I have done it many times.
  21. Well, I am almost 53 and never even had or used one until earlier this month, when I got a new tracfone and figured I might as well get a smart phone since they were on sale. So absolutely. I could go forever without touching one. I still do everything on the computer and only use the phone for very infrequent calls and occasionally look at the weather on it.
  22. Our experience, exactly. We had to have two of ours put down (not at the same time) earlier this year. Feline leukemia 😞 . They were very sick, so it went really quickly.
  23. I'd definitely take him to the vet (and we are not ones to go to the doctor or vet until we have no choice). It really sounds like he got something up his nose. Could have been some kind of plant seed or burr. Since he hasn't sneezed it out yet, I think he may need the vet to get it out.
  24. I only want people I do not have to interact with if I don't feel like it. When I was in for a week after my surgery, I wanted my mom and aunts and my DH and DC. My mom and her sisters would come and be with me while visiting with one another (which I liked because I could join if I felt like it but was not obligated), and my girls and DH would come and play games or watch tv shows with me. I had some friends whom I loved come every single night with their little girl and stay for nearly 2 hours. They wore me out and I hated it. Guess everybody is probably different though.
  25. I would not do laminate if there is any chance the cat will continue to potty in there, as it can ruin it if not cleaned up immediately. No suggestions for colors and such, but I think I'd go with vinyl or more tile. Something that can't absorb urine and that doesn't have cracks for the urine to seep into.
