    I have a back up camera. Living on a busy street, it's totally rude taking up a lane of traffic while I back in.

    Try roasting the veggies. I am a reformed carbitarian. Roasting the veggies with a generous dose of olive oil was my gateway into veggie land. :) Smoothies too!

    I'm thinking I might just do Caesar's English 1&2 next year, since these seem to be really popular. I'm still mourning Mud and the fun grammar characters. I assumed they'd carry on through the elementary series.

    Trying again for a "relaxed" approach. I met with a local mom who unschools (not radically) and I gained some confidence from that discussion.

    My husband telecommutes, so there would be no lost income. I think for us it wouldn't be longer than a year, and it would prob save us some money. I'm starting to estimate the costs, just for fun. I think I'm too nervous to really do it, but it's fun dreaming.

    We are very seriously considering something like this. It would probably only be for a summer or some other short time span. We are renters who can't find a house to buy. I keep telling my husband we should just buy an airstream.

    That was the thread I found! So funny about your DS, mine always responds with a blank stare when people ask him what he does for school. They look at me incredulously, because it's my fault he can't think of anything.
