I am so very sorry. I am not familiar with your story but, the pain and hurt that you express here is almost palpable. For your own sanity and well being you need to tell her , in whatever terms you can manage, that you will not be able to see her.

No, you are not alone. I am not watching it for many of the reasons you mentioned. I have always enjoyed watching the athletes and their amazing abilities. Unfortunately the games have become too focused on other things, money, politics etc. It's sad for those young men and women who work so hard to compete in the Olympics

You are right. A Troll serves only one purpose...to cause problems. I understand that you (gen.) want to keep them off the board. It just seems that the members of this board are very quick to assume that a new person is a troll. 🙂 I guess my point is to maybe give the benefit of the doubt. 🙂 just some food for thought 🙂 I admit, I hadn't thought about the Bot possibility. Not tech savvy here...lol Btw, I am not a troll. 🙂 I am a former homeschool Mom that has followed TWTM for years. The reason stated above is a big reason that I have never posted.

I find it interesting that if a new poster comments on a somewhat older thread, they are automatically accused of a zombie thread. Or if a new poster happens to comment on a "hot" topic it is implied that they are a troll. Me thinks this board is not very welcoming to new posters. 🙂

This! To the OP, It doesn't matter what she has written in the card. It was left on a grave and you should have left it alone. Whether you like it or agree with it does not matter.
