  1. Our schools are closed "indefinitely". We had the choice of online work or papers.
  2. I had a mastectomy on one side with an expander and then an implant. It was a hard decision for me also. I was tired of all of the doctors appointments and just wanted to be done with everything. At the same time though, I felt that mentally, it would be better for me to get the implant. I'm glad I did. It really helped me feel more "back to normal". The only part of it that bothers me is not being able to sleep on my stomach anymore.🙁
  3. I lay down in bed at 830-9 and read. I'm usually falling asleep while reading within 20 minutes. I get up at 530 am though. so that helps,
  4. If you're looking for something specifically to wear with those shorts ( which I also am a fan of), I really love these : https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-3103177/womens-sonoma-goods-for-life-printed-tank.jsp?color=Light Blue Floral&prdPV=1 I know they're not a tshirt but they're nice and flowy and I think make a nice combination with the Old navy shorts. Just throwing another option out there.
  5. My ds is 9. I buy his jeans at Kohls. They're the urban pipeline brand and have reinforced knees - no holes! Yay! I also got him a bunch of character t's at Kohl's - mostly minecraft, mario and pokemon. That's pretty much all he wears. All of this is holding up great.
  6. Might not be your cup of tea but I love sweet potato and black beans heated up with salsa on top. I keep cooked black beans and cooked sweet potatoes (both super easy if you have an instant pot, or just use canned beans) in my fridge, so I just toss some in a frying pan. So easy. I do a lot of smoothies too.
  7. I could live without AC. I don't live in the South though... Two things I wouldn't want to live without are TP and a washer.
  8. I like these pants too. They are somewhat similar to the llbean pants posted above and the lands end starfish pants, except that the fabric of the danskin pants isn't quite as nice.
  9. I don't like cold weather but I do enjoy dressing for cold weather more than dressing for warm weather, if that makes sense. I don't consider myself super-fashionable but to me it's fun/creative to mix and match scarves, sweaters, boots, purses etc. I wear mostly leggings, skirts, and occasionally yoga pants.
  10. I did the same thing a few years ago. The amount of unflattering clothing I was holding onto was crazy. I went out and bought a few things I felt great in. What a boost for my confidence that was! I also want to know what this clothing line is.
  11. Oatmeal. It's what I usually have every morning. Once in a while I'll have toast with peanut butter and jelly on it.
  12. I've never tried buttered pecan ice cream. Now I want to try it. :)
  13. I'm not very good at crossword puzzles. I like word finds.
  14. I like going in now and then and browsing with my ds9. Our location is staying open, but I'm kind of surprised it's not on the closing list. Hardly any other shoppers are in there.
  15. Oh my word - these clothes are beautiful. Never heard of this company before. Thanks for responding!
  16. :iagree: This is my kind of capsule wardrobe. Where do you shop, Aura? I like to wear black bottoms (mostly leggings) and then whatever color tops looks best on me. I have black, gray, and dark maroon long open cardigans that I wear when chilly. I also have a sparkly gray scarf and a dark maroon one. I have a pair of black skinny jeans from Express that are nice and soft. Other than those I've pretty much given up on jeans. They're just too uncomfortable. For shoes I have tall black boots and tan medium height uggs for winter. Converse, Toms, and flip flops for warmer weather. I also have a black peacoat.
  17. This bothers me too. I look up recipes online and one recipe will say to set it for 18 minutes for chicken thighs, another says 28, another says 25. I'm not much of an experimenter in the kitchen, so it's pushed me out of my comfort level a bit.
  18. I have the OXO brand version of this tool. My dh eats a lot of ground beef/chicken and I use this tool a lot. It's so helpful!
  19. However many ounces it is to the "4" line on the carafe is what I have every morning. A few times I've tried giving up coffee cold turkey and had horrible body aches, especially in my legs. I don't care for tea. Sometimes I'll have a mocha cappuccino (made from a powdered mix) in the afternoon.
  20. I just got my ds and I allerease pillows at bj's. I think they were 2/$15. They're nice and puffy. I like that I can wash them in hot water.
  21. I'm pretty reserved and I like to ask questions and let the other people do most of the talking.
