I'm in NJ. I went to Aldi today. Still no toilet paper, paper towels, etc There was very little fresh meat, just a few packages of sausage. A lot of the baking items are not there. Overall, Aldi has been the best stocked store I've been to though. -
Are parents really failing miserably at crisis schooling?
appyonthebeach replied to Plum's topic in The Chat Board
We've been enjoying it for the most part. My ds (11) has found the work pretty easy and said it's a lot easier to concentrate at home (something that's hard for him at school). I've been enjoying having more time for reading aloud, relaxing, cooking together, seeing him decompress- school is hard for him. He does miss his friends and obviously the change of scenery. Keep in mind, I'm not trying to work at home while making sure he gets his work done. I also only have 1 child. Those would be much more challenging situations. -

I'm in NJ. We have to wear masks to get into the store. Aldi had pretty much everything on the shelves except tp and paper towels. I was able to get tp at BJ's though. Shoprite was the worst stocked. Hardly any canned foods, tomato sauces, boxes of cereal or baking supplies. No paper products either.
