  1. Would any of you please tell me what materials you've tried and what works best. Print or online? Boxed set or workbooks?
  2. The principal of my local alternative high school says that half of his student come from failed home schooling. My guess is that parents signed the affidavit and basically let their kids drop out of school to spare themselves the grief of complaints about their kid's behavior. Then the kids themselves come to see that they've got to have a diploma if they want to make a living (some students are 20 years old). Do you have any general ideas about why homeschool is so great for some and a failure for others. Is there anything I should know before trying homeschool with my kids. Generally speaking, does homeschool work better with grade school kids but not so well for junior high and high school kids? Are kids who start homeschool after grade school likely to fail?
