  1. I highly recommend staying in Jersey City, especially if you're comfortable going with an Airbnb. I'm on my phone, so a bit difficult to search, but here's a sample 3bd apartment you could rent within a 30-40 min commute from Carnegie Hall: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/21105393?location=Jersey%20City%2C%20NJ%2C%20United%20States&adults=3&children=2&infants=0&guests=5&s=nI1CSGfO The way you get to the city is by taking the PATH, which is an underground train that connects Jersey City and Manhattan. If you search for public transportation directions on Google maps, PATH train options will be given. Additionally, the Jersey City area is very nice, especially if you stay east of I78 or if you could find an apartment on the waterfront (amazing Hudson River, NYC, and sometimes Statue of Liberty ). I can see you have a bunch of good answers on here already, but feel free to PM me if you'd like to chat more! P.S. An award ceremony at Carnegie Hall sounds amazing. Congratulations to your daughter. Hope you, guys, enjoy the very special occasion. P.S. 2. Fly into EWR if you're staying in NJ. (Newark Liberty Airport.)
  2. Thank you so much for taking the time to look. This is definitely the closest to what I'm looking for that I've seen so far.
  3. Hi! Does anyone know of a homeschooling group for young kids (preschool, kindergarten) in either Jersey City or Downtown NYC? I know there is a Jersey City and Hoboken group, but they accept kids 5 and above only. Thanks!
  4. My son just finished going through the 1st grade material in Red Bird. I've been using this in combination with DreamBox as our math core. Very disappointed they're shutting it down! That being said, if they are now marketing to schools, perhaps Homeschool Buyers Co-op will be able to offer it at some point?
