Build Your Library! We really enjoy the reading lists that go along with history and pull in the poetry and dictation/copywork sometimes too. It’ll be our third year using pieces from it. ?

How long did RSO Biology 2 take you?

Following. We were hoping to get a few families together to use it for a co-op, but I think it’ll end up being just us. I was looking to see which labs look the most fun and which might be some overlap. Also was thinking about adding in some notebooking from Mel and Gerry from TpT. With our schedule it’ll be hard for us to do science more than an hour a day 2-3 times a week, so I’m hoping it’s doable! -
Build Your Library. We like her book lists a lot. And Essentials in Literature does start at 7th grade, but from looking at the samples I don’t think it would be terribly difficult to make it work for 6th.

We use BYL as a reading list to go along with history, but we’re adding in Essentials in Literature for short stories and literary elements.

Thrift books customer service?
Airykah replied to Airykah's topic in General Education Discussion Board
Update: received a response from customer service today (so I’d say that’s definitely prompt) and they are sending out replacements. The bad news is that three of the books from my original order are now unavailable, so that’s a bummer. They did say they’d refund the difference though. -
So I put in a big order with them for our novels for next year. Everything was delivered today. They split it up into several smaller orders and one bigger order (different sellers I guess.) The smaller orders were right, but my biggest order that was supposed to be 8 different books totaling about $40 came with one random picture book I didn’t order. Nothing else. Emailed them, so we’ll see when someone gets back to me. Has anyone had experience with something like this happening? Not super impressed so far, and not sure I’ll order from them again. The books that did come that were supposed to be “very good” were more like the “good” books from abebooks, the “good” books more like “acceptable” etc...

DD (will be 11) Jacobs Algebra-excited for this one. Looks fun! Latin Prep 1 BYL 6 for lit and US History Mix of MCT Voyage, going to try GFTWTM, Vocabulary from Classical Roots Life Science at co-op along with stem/robotics and drawing/painting We did WWS1 through WTMA this year, I’ve got WWS2 ready to go...something is telling me to try something else for next year. She tolerated, but didn’t love WWS. I’m thinking maybe try W&R 7? Wish I could find something awesome and secular for logic 15+ hours a week of competitive dance, piano at home with mom. -
