Good Morning, Today we are going to the Renaissance Fair. So field trip. I found out they offer a free educational walking tour, but at 6 I'm not sure that would be anything she would pay attention too. She wants fairy wings, face paint, go to see the fairies and the mermaids, ride the rides, jousting and eat sugar. A few days ago I gave her a brief overview of the Renaissance. Its definitely going to be exercise and being in the great outdoors. On the other hand, Dad would be giving her a history lessons himself for he LOVES the RenFaire. That would be something she would pay attention too for its Daddy's thing. She loves lots of things Dad does.

Make up day today and it's done. Breakfast meeting with Co Op Moms. Had lunch with Dad. Now playing at the park. Laundry Read alouds Games time

Yesterday DD was melting down at everything. We did get Bible time and penmanship done. So we did a light school. Dad cuddled and spent time reading to her "Alice in Wonderland". Today is our no writing day. So we have Bible time, audiobooks, arts and crafts, music practice and classics for kids. It's our creative day. Tomorrow she will make up her core subjects she missed Thursday. Already been grocery shopping at two stores. Clean house. Lunch with Dad. Parktime if its warm enough.

Good Morning All, Regular school planned for today. Need to go to the laundromat. Need to go and drop off overdue books at library. 😞 It suppose to storm today.

School done. Family time Dinner out Church and choir rehearsal.

Daddy off work today. Daddy/Daughter Day. So far they did art, math and she read to him. Currently on their way to storytime at library where the theme is buses and they get to ride on a bus today after the stories and craft. After that I don't know their plans. I took a nice hot bath. Currently drinking some hot tea and relaxing in a quiet place. I will also probably clean because there isn't anyone here.

School done. Dad home. Family chores. Play time.

Math, phonics (spelling rules) review from this week, Bible time, poems, penmanship, classics for kids (music), her reading, practicing her music for Christmas choir and my reading to her plus audiobooks while she does art and/or crafts. Clean the house.

Today is Bible, she reads, audiobooks, practice her choir music for Christmas, storytime at library, science and crafts. Lunch with Dad at work Park time Birthday party for a friend.

My DD is 1st grade and an only child. She does math, phonics, spelling and penmanship 4 days a week. She reads to us daily and reads on her own at bedtime nightly. We read to her and she hears audiobooks daily. Of a variety of subjects. We talk and work on the states. We live in a college town and we see lots of out of state licenses plates. We make a game out of it. Puzzle on the states. Tv programs on the states. We read books on state history and watch programs on it. We have a museum in town that is all about the history of our town. They have a homeschool class once a month. Those we do when we can. Storytime twice a week. Parktime as often as weather and time permit. Last night she join family choir (for Christmas) along with Dad. So they are singing and practicing their songs together. They will be doing that daily. Science and nature we do as often as possible.

Good Morning All, We had Homeschool Co-op this a.m.. They did a unit study, flex class and P.E. At home Bible time, penmanship and she reads to us. Audiobook with more arts and crafts. Dad is teaching her to sew. (a purse for Barbie) This Saturday is a makeup day and she will do her core subjects then.

Is she a physically active child?

Yesterday stunk. She got school done though. Today tried to be different. Bible time Phonics and spelling She read to me Still needs penmanship and math. Dad is home today but still sleeping. Outside time, science, art, music and we read to her. We also have audiobooks when she draws or plays (upon request). Church dinner and Bible Club tonight. DD and DH going to be apart of our churches Christmas Choir. Rehearsal starts after Bible Club tonight. Tomorrow Homeschool Co-Op in the morning.

All is done but math. She had a big meltdown and asked to go to bed because she was tired. She slept for 2 1/2 hrs. Until Daddy got home and woke her up to play. She is currently playing games with Daddy then he will work with her on math.

Hey All, Today church, lunch with Daddy and currently letting DD6 run wild at the park. Let's burn off all that energy. Me- clean the house. Her- after the park she is going to be doing an art project out of cardboard while listening to an audiobook. She loves that.

School done today is Bible, her reading to me, working thru Reading Pathways long vowel words, classics for kids, arts and crafts, magic school bus science and poems. Storytime at library with special guest that did music and poetry with craft. Parktime Lunch with Dad More crafts at home this afternoon with audiobooks to boot.

Did Bible time at home this morning. We were out and about today. She did her math lesson in the car with Dad on the way to the library. Dropped off a bunch of things at the library and picked stuff up. She did her penmanship there as well. Laundry mat. Visit friends Ate out Parktime Visit to Great Grandma and did her phonics workbook and read to Great Grandma. Audiobook in the car. #11 Boxcar Children. Home and she is watching Magic School Bus Creepy Crawlies. She will read more to Dad before bed.

DD6 washing her hands after using the restroom and before she eats. Also if she has been playing in the dirt. She saw a science show on pinworms and that freaked her out.

Did a lot in school today. She was doing paint by numbers "A Starry Night" by Van Gogh, while listening to many different types of books (Bible, literature and poetry). She also listened to the classics for kids. Phonics, her reading, penmanship along with math are all done.

They went to the lake and hiked around. Also went to a thrift store where he was trying to teach her how to haggle. She did her nature journal and a penmanship page (having to do with the hike). She found driftwood and painted it (with Dad) and other things while listening to some stories. She read several books and put Dad down for a nap but did she nap... nope. She feel asleep about her regular time. I don't know how she did it. Tomorrow regular school day.

Hello, She was up super early 4am and so I had to be. Dad is home and it's his day for school. I did devotion, memory verse, Bible storybook and her Adventure Bible. She watched Popular Mechanics for Kids and What's in the Bible with Buck Denver. Dad took DD6 out this morning and he hasn't shared his plans. DD has told me what she wants to do. Science, art, nature walk and math with Dad. We will see how it goes. I want to sleep but now I'm just enjoying the quiet

Good Morning, Daddy is doing overtime today. School done so far is Bible time and she is working on phonics. Need to do penmanship, math and her reading to me. We have chores today and audiobooks will be done during that time. She wants to watch Popular Mechanics for Kids today and maybe Magic School Bus.

We are only one week into 1st grade and she is enjoying it. Hit We changed math this year to Beast Academy 2A. She loves it. After Bible class on Wednesday night she even asked to do more math. I asked what she thought BA and she said she loves it. I'm glad she is enjoying it. No misses as of yet.

Our Fridays are crazy. Took Dad to work. Grocery shopping. Did Bible, activity handouts from a dental presentation at co-op (dental hygiene), Popular Mechanics for Kids dvd, 2 Boxcar Children audiobooks and arts/crafts. Storytime with crafts at library. Hung out with other kids. Lunch with Dad Spent time with friends. Art time with Dad (after he got home).
