  1. My granddaughter absolutely loves Shiller Math. If I ask her what she wants to do it's usually math. She will do it for hours. Now that's just her and what she likes. I can't vouch for everyone. But I like that it's open and go. It's scripted (but I usually ad-lib) but it is working. I have homeschooles my two older daughters 26 21 and tried a lot of everything and this is by far the best fit for us. Do what works for your child. Sent from my SM-S727VL using Tapatalk
  2. Have you heard of the Homegrown Preschooler? She has a curriculum called A year of playing skillfully. It's a wonderful learning tool for up to 7 years old (although even my 20 year old had a great time with it). Playing is a great way to learn. Children do not need formal education to start too young. Let them learn at their level. Nothing wrong with that. If you go on the website you can download a month long schedule for September. We had a blast. http://www.thehomegrownpreschooler.com/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. nope not necessarily. Things happen cracks that can't be seen via loops,X-rays or testing ( but cause bacteria leaking). Sometimes this just happens. Have had patients with no fillings at all. Minor cracks in tooth that could not be seen. Broke had to be extracted and replaced by an implant. RCT can get reinfected. No fault of the dentist. It's an infection. The mouth is the most bacteria ridden part of the body so infection of the weakest spot is inevitable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I'm a dental hygienist and we always advocate for keeping the tooth! One a tooth is removed the other test try to fill the void. So #15 is the upper left last molar, # 18 (lower left bottom molar) usually hits #15 in order to chew your food. In the absence of opposition from 15 the lower molar will try to fill the void and move upward. I had a crown placed and then years later had a RCT. It's not a bad procedure if you do it before it get severely infected. And you may lose that tooth in the future but you may not. Again always opt for keeping your teeth. A lot of people are not aware how losing a tooth affects the other teeth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
