So far, age 16 for my 2 older girls that were homechooled, and 15 for my ds 18 who attended public school. I will have a new driver in December, so we will have to decide if he's getting a smart phone or a dumb phone.
We paid for basic cell service with a flip phone when they started driving at 16. When they each decided to have a smart phone, they paid for it. My 2 older kids are on our plan, but they pay us for the monthly service. My ds 18 is on his own plan and started paying for it when he was 17. This was his choice.
I have to agree with all of these posts. Physics is not my ds15's favorite subject, but this was his favorite class so far. Jetta is an awesome teacher!
My oldest is graduating with a BS in Plant Sciences. She was my guinea pig and did well in college. She had aways said she wasn't going on for her MS, but now she is planning to work for a year and work on applications. She's thinking of an MBA in some concentration. I'm excited about this plan for her and am glad she changed her mind. She is still happy that she chose homeschooling.
We have 2 big refrigerators and they are definitely not full of soda and beer. Our need for space is directly related to the amount of people living here and the fact that I hate grocery shopping.
Being nauseous at the thought or smell of coffee was like a pregnancy test for me. I'm a coffee drinker but can't stand it while I'm pregnant. This made life so much easier than having to give it up.
