For my birthday all I want is more time in the day....and what happens ~ I loose an hour :(

The day has just started and already I'm an hour behind. hee hee!

At this point, two weeks into Mom's massive heart attack, I would just like to thank CCH for having fantastic coffee in the cafeteria. She was home for two days and back to ICU again with a pericardial effusion.

First time officiating a funeral today. For a robin who flew into our sliding glass, may he rest in peace.

Took a joey to the vet. He probably won't be ok. :(

How is it my child takes a bath for half an hour and comes out still dirty.

The owl pellet dissection kit we got from Home Science Tools has a choking hazard warning. Ew.

What a horrible day. Our dog was attacked on our afternoon walk, slipped his collar and disappeared. Thankfully he came home, but not before many tears (many mine). He's a sweet, shy, formerly terribly neglected shelter dog we've had for about eight months. So the good part: "home" IS "home" to him, and he wasn't badly injured. Gotta keep telling myself that. Phew.

Sqee! Hubby bought me a new nook for my birthday tomorrow but I don't know which one so still a surprise.

Apparently today is "Celebrate Your Bodily Functions Day" in my house. I know you guys are totally jealous.
