Has anyone had any experience with Abbington School?

Rebekah and I bought plane tickets and are moving to Florida. We will be leaving Colorado on December 9. She has a friend we will be living with. It will either be in Tampa or Orlando. Until we can find an apartment our plan is to stay in a hotel. Nikki (Rebekah's friend) has a job and is sure she can get Rebekah on there too. Has anyone else done anything like this?

I have an adult friend who never went to high school. She would like to get her diploma through a correspondence school. She prefers to have print materials rather than doing it online. Cost is a factor. The two schools I have been looking at for her are American School and Citizens High School. Does anyone have any experience with either of these or have a better alternative?

When my daughter was a child she did wear a watch. She is 27 now and doesn't because she can always check the time on her cell phone. I voted other.

I'm doing pretty good. My wrist is sore, but my hand already feels better. Thanks for all the prayers. And it was just my right hand. It was a bit tricky since I have lymphodema in my left arm. They had to put the blood pressure cuff on my right leg and my IV in my left foot.

I'm having my carpel tunnel surgery on Monday. I just thought I would let you know sine I had mentioned the possibility of it on here.

I guess some people prefer to water down history and make it all seem happy and not let their children know what truly happened.

I already purchased the tickets for us to fly. It mentions something in the email the airline sent me about printing off a boarding pass. Where do I find the boarding pass to print off? Or is there some other way I get the boarding passes? I have never done this before.

I think this really depends on the child. My daughter didn't like candy much as a child so I let her decide when she wanted to eat it. Come kids love candy and wouldn't stop until they were sick so....those children should be regulated (and no, that doesn't make them stupid).

My daughter turned down a job working at a gas station ... similar situation ... I backed her up when my mother thought she should have taken the job anyway. My daughter is 27. I didn't feel it would be safe for her to work there either. It was also late at night.

Yes, I had the nerve test done last week and they did find it was carpal tunnel syndrome. I had it done in 2008 as well, but even though it was already diagnosed as CTS, they didn't feel it was bad enough at that time to do surgery. That is when I wore a brace and had physical therapy. I also have difficulty cutting food with a knife or a fork. Right now, I can't even feel my right hand... except for tingling.

My parents tried to accommodate everyone when they had their 50th anniversary. It ended up being my nephews and niece had to miss some of their activities. Depending on how large the family is, it may be impossible to adjust to every single person you want to be there.

I've been having trouble with my right hand (and arm) since 2008. I have used a brace and even went through physical therapy. It helped for a while, but no longer does. My hand is either in pain or totally numb almost all the time. I cashiered at Wal-Mart for three and a half years. I was the fastest cashier there, but I paid for it in the end.

As usual, it is easy to see that people on here do not know the WHOLE story and are coming to conclusions without the facts. She has had to have TWO surgeries and probably will have to have a third. Her insurance company is giving her fits and not wanting to pay for the surgeries. So, she should just NOT use her hand for the rest of her life then? Try finding ALL the facts before posting stuff on here.
