My parents were in a bad car accident today

I am so sorry to hear about this and will keep them in my thoughts. I hope things continue to improve with your Dad and that the surgery goes smoothly with your Mom. <<<hugs>>> -
I am sorry you are struggling.

I finally got my 3rd dose on Monday. My main series was Moderna. I had Pfizer on Monday afternoon. I had migraine symptoms start late Monday night as I went to bed, but I slept well. I don’t have pain, my head feels funny, my cognition is off, and I get nauseated which an established migraine pattern for me. It was really bad yesterday that I couldn’t be in the room with the Christmas lights. It’s bothering me a bit tonight after a good day. I woke up yesterday without tinnitus, and so far it’s stayed away. 🤞 I have an order for IV steroids if anything goes wrong like last time, but I’m optimistic. No fever or flu-like symptoms this time around and no arm pain.

I will check out the trials. I'm just getting to a point of looking at supplements and diet, so if you have any resources I'm all ears. I'll admit to having ignored my MS up until these last two years. Now it's kicking me in the teeth. I have taken Amrix in the past. I hope it goes well for you. I just felt very disconnected while taking it, and it didn't seem to improve with time.

I guess I'd consider how tall he's expected to be. My youngest DS gained a lot of weight, to the point we took him to the pediatrician because it seemed more than his older brother had. His feet had just grown, a lot, and they weren't worried. A year later, at 13, he's grown more than a foot and is over 6'. Most people don't recognize him.

I am so sorry. Sending positive thoughts for you and the rest of the family.

Wait, we have one of those!?!?

That’s exactly what I’m looking for. My spasticity is back right now and the amount of Baclofen needed to control it makes me a zombie. My sister is in Colorado and keeps mentioning CBD to me. I have a controlled substance agreement so CBD would be my only option right now. I’m constantly anemic so I’m going to get my b12 checked and look into the correlation with protein and hair loss. Anything I can do to decrease inflammation is a go with MS.

I agree with everyone else, keep the caregivers. My MIL owns a home care agency, they cannot get people and cannot take any new cases at this point. You don't want to loose them.

I'm so grateful for Shipt shoppers. Being small town I'm able to get home delivery. I sometime go and app checkout at the nearest Sam's Club, because that's the only place most people wear masks, but even that is curbside with the numbers right now. I had to take DD to the ER last week and it was awful. @BlsdMama I'm interested in hearing more about the CW CBD. 😉

You made my day. My MIL is so difficult to buy for. She may not get these but my FIL sure will. I bought the teapot (she collects) and a set of mugs. I might have to send a mug to my sister! -
There and back a again! This Hobbit made it home.

I'm glad you made it home, those were some wicked winds! -
I hope they both continue to improve. I’ll keep them in my thoughts.

I just finished The Exiled Fleet. According to the author page there will be a book 3 in The Divide Series. This last week I finished up the Creek Canyon series by Catherine Bybee with Everything Changes. Honestly it was a disappointment, I usually really enjoy her work but could see where this was going and it was just too much like the prior book. Since I updated last I've finished Fated Blades, book 3 in the Kinsman series by Ilona Andrews, it's right between a novella and a novel. I really enjoy the Kinsmen world. I finished up my Kate Daniels reread right before Thanksgiving so now I'm up to date with all their books. No idea where I'm heading next, I've been putting off Archangel's Light by Nalini Singh, and realized I didn't read Kingdom of Light and Shadow by Karen Marie Moning either. 🤷♀️ I don't want to be disappointed with either series so they may wait a bit more. It'll be an audiobook. I cleared out my inbox after getting locked out this weekend, and my eyes won't focus after 200,000 emails. 🤣 -
I hope he improves and is able to go home soon. I'm sorry for the family drama.

My package was shipped on Nov. 22nd for DH’s birthday next week. It made it to Michigan and was supposed to be delivered on Black Friday. I got a delayed notice for a day, and it’s been scheduled delivery pending ever since. It hasn’t moved since Nov. 25th. I contacted the sender and they said to give it another week, after his birthday, and if it hasn’t shown up let them know. 🤬 I doubt I’ll see the package.

Toddlers Make Up 10% of Hospital Cases in Omicron Epicenter. The caveat is that they don't know how many might be less ill and admitted as a precaution.
-
30% is much less effective. 6.8% vs 9.7% Do you even approve that? I don't like the belief that it's unable to change human cells, but then requiring birth control. I get a little more concerned with things that are made to introduce errors in genetic code, especially if we may have something better with Pfizer.

Book a Week 2021 - BW46: Non Fiction Miscellanea

I am finishing up a reread of the Kate Daniels series, currently reading Blood Heir, which is technically the next series. Next up is The Last Watch by J.S. Dewes which is supposed to be "The Expanse meets Game of Thrones" according to the reviews. I haven't read Game of Thrones so I'm not sure what to expect. 🤷♀️ I started watching the first part of The Expanse ,series 1, episode 1 with DH, but decided I'll probably do a reread before the new release in the spring.
