We moved from GA to TX 3 months ago and our previous landlord has not returned our $1500 security deposit. They assured us they would when we left and when I called they said they sent the check and would send another one. We still haven't got it. We could really use the money and we left the house in much better shape then when we left. Does anyone know what we could do to get the money back? I don't want to bother with small claims court, plus we are 1,000 miles away.

Do you know if you can get one per child in the family? Do you have to bring all the kids in every week to get the coupon?

I found the forum from the Well Trained Mind web site. Then I saw the "for sale" section and I've been hooked ever since!

Wow! I wonder if you can do this with each child? I looked and I didn't see a family limit.

We've used whole wheat before and it worked but the texture was not as smooth as all purpose. If we make another one I'd rather use all purpose, but if you just don't have it you can get away with whole wheat.

Have you tried to schedule a snack time and only have a snack then? That helped me stop the hours of grazing. It takes a bit to get used to it but after a week or so I stopped thinking about when it was not time for my snack.

:iagree: Listen to your heart! 14 is still so young to be out alone at night in a place you know is trouble.

We have the same problem, but when I tried to switch they we all too tired to do math.

Has anyone bought the 3 or 5 day package? I would love to hear how you felt about it. Is it different from Earthschooling?

I loved my Ergo and they really are worth the price! I know you can get one use, but if you can afford it I'd get a new one because you can use them for so long. A backpack is nice to have too though. We used both depending on what was going on. My dh didn't like using the Ergo.

I'd love to hear how you use Earthschooling. I don't quite get it. I saw where they had a discount on the life-time membership last month and you could join with another family. I just couldn't get past the price.

I don't post here that often, but I've bought some things from the FS board. A few weeks ago I bought something from someone for $40 (that's a lot for me to spend on one thing) and when I got the box the books all smelled like mold! :glare: VERY MOLDY! I felt it was a rotten thing to do, but I didn't contact her about it. I have since notice that she always has a ton of things for sale all the time. I think I might stick to local used sales and buying new.

This is a book worth having a copy of. I bet you could get a used copy on the Want to Buy section.
