I haven't posted much here, but I have gotten so much from reading these boards; I really could use some help in putting together a course description for a co-op class I'm teaching this year. It'll be my first year teaching, and the only thing I know is that it is to be a cooking class for 2nd and 3rd graders the first half of the year, and then K and 1st graders the second half. I have no idea if I should make it a strict 'learn to cook' class, or if I should give it a slant, like adding in some science or history. Any advice, book recommendations, site recommendations, etc. would be so appreciated!
