After 3 years, we've decided to do away with Saxon. Although it is effective, it has just become too much of a dreaded chore, taking more than an hour to complete a lesson. My kids who once loved math are starting to despise it.
DS is finishing up Saxon 1/2, so he will begin Jacobs Algebra. But what about my soon-to-be 6th grade DD, who also enjoys math, and my 4th grade DS, who would rather be doing anything else but school work?
What math curriculum (other than Saxon) would be a good foundation prior to using Harold Jacobs?
TIA
